WOAH!!
This was by no means a bad game but goddamn I wish they kept their original vision throughout development. We could've had something as great as RE4, not RE4 in africa: co-op edition.
Also resident evil thread.

My brother's birthday is coming up and I've noticed he's been emulating a lot of old school stuff lately.
I was thinkig about getting him a new controller, but can't decide which.
I'm leaning towards DS4 ith XB1 analog sticks as they look better.
Thoughts?
I greatly prefer the Xbone controller. I sold my Xbone to get a PS4 and it's the one thing I really miss. It's easily the best pad I've ever used.
>>383382225
I prefer the stick placement as well. He's been using a 360 pad for a few years now.
I've played the PS4 (grew put of gaming after the PS2 era) and the dualshock is comfy af
>>383382225
I did the same. I agree that the xbox controller is great.
>>383382146
If hes playing older games and doesnt need analog, consider the wii u pro. Great feeling dapd and buttons. Insane battery life.
>sniper game
>250m max distance on enemies due to CryEngine (according to the devs)
Is it actually worth getting if you can't even really "snipe"?
>Using Shit Engine 4 when Unreal Engine exists
lol
Is this Ghost Warrior? I've played Sniper Elite 1 & 2 but they're just too actiony, too little sniping. I want to scout a location, take my time to aim, let my shot off then run away.
>>383382154
Try Sniper Elite 4 then.

Think of the last 10 characters you played as. They join forces and must now face this asshole or their worlds are destroyed. How fucked are they?

Ignoring the fact that this guy can apparently let swords hover around him, he could just be a wannabe Zoro.

Original character, do not steel.
1. what genre takes the most skill at the highest level?
2. what genre is the most fun at the highest level?
RTS. Fun is subjective but I would say Arena shooter
>>383381827
MOBAs have the biggest prize pools and therefore draw the most talent and since multiplayer games skill depends on how good your opponent is then MOBAs are the hardest genre.
>>383382018
That argument is flawed. If Pokémon suddenly became the most sought out professional e-sports game, that wouldn't make it the highest genre.
Impossible is just a word people like to use so they can feel good about themselves then theySkies of Arcadia thread

Who holds the rights to the game these days? Sega? Why haven't they released it on Steam yet like Grandia 2?
>>383381728
Have a 1080p quote of that.
>>383382283
Who fucking knows what goes on inside Sega. They seem to hate money when it comes to something like this and Shenmue HD, although Shenmue HD probably has a lot more copyright stuff in it that needs to be addressed.

Dolphin?
TL;DR: Dion's contract with ZeniMax (Parent company of Bethesda, destroyer of games) essentially claimed that ZeniMax had to follow Dion's terms with the usage of the song, and since they did not, he is suing them. Apparently, Dion would have been fine with the song's usage in a trailer, if it had displayed a "post-apocalyptic struggle for survival without craven violence."
Personally, since I think Bethesda is fucking retarded with how it handled the game and there's a lack of intelligent moral dilemmas, plot, characters, quests, and et cetera, I would have actually liked to see something like in Fallout 2 or New Vegas where violence didn't have to always be the first answer. So I hope that ZeniMax loses, even though I know a million or so won't hurt them financially, I hope the attention it gets is enough to leave them a bruise.

That's weird, he never complained with his usage of the song in Behind Enemy Lines. That move was pretty much craven violence.
