Disregard anyone who says "well if you liked OLD RARE PLATFORMER" because this wasn't even made by the same people. As in Playtonic is 90% artists + Kirkhope who did a half-assed job. It's inferior to Kazooie, Tooie, and DK64 simply because it has no idea what it wants to be so it poorly copies all three.

It's still the same shit boring game with nothing to do, only now you can have nothing to do in a big open field instead of a diablo dungeon.

I reinstalled and the first thing I want to do is check out the new war within story quests, only in order to access them I have to spend 10+ hours grinding stupid bullshit on the moon in order to complete a junction. Fuck this game.

It's a flawed game.
If you're looking for story and a sense of progression it's the wrong game for you.
However if you're looking for some gunplay with vertical movement that feels really good both in PVP and Raids, you're going to like it.

And yes, i believe D2 is going to be considered better than the first.
