Any Dragon Quest we actually can get localized.

Vanillaware games and localized Dragon Quest games.
What games have romanceable female knights?
>>384221067
Rune Factory 4
Female knights are only good for mindbreak

every level wasn't like Noki 6
You never find out what the fuck that book is
>play dark souls after seeing it hyped up forever every where
>spend most of the time running back and forth to grind
So it's like every other jap game huh?
I should've known.
>having to grind in Dark Souls
You don't need to grind in dark souls though.
yeah it's basically unfair:the video game
The camera will get stuck on everything and give you a nice view of nothing and the bosses all have unfair movesets that have no room for reaction time
*teleports behind you*
Pssh... nothin personnel, hero...
man the yiga clan had so much wasted potential for side quests
They seem to take the whole killing Link thing very personally.

H-hey, just wait there for about 5 minutes hero. I'll be able to get there soon
Alright, /v/, I'm curious. When you play an rpg (like persona) and such, do you use your own name, the character's canon name, or a separate name you came up with?
Names of historical figures
>>384219871
huh, never heard of that one. Any personal favourites, or do you use names in-line with the setting (like a Japanese game with historical jap figures
I put in the name I got years ago when I entered mine in a nip name generator. But if I were to replay p4, I would probably name him Yu.
VR fishing???
epic
Would only work if it's completely physics based, with your controller as the rod, throwing the line and tilting against the pull as you reel in.
But nothing console VR, you just look at a spot and press a button. Pointless.
If I told you 20 years ago that one day there would be a Final Fantasy fishing game in virtual reality, what would you think?
>almost three ours to get to the first boss
>easy as shit
>next boss is literally one door away
>hard as all fuck bar parrying
>arbalest gimmick to kill it
>fly to ruins
>kill 9 identical goons in narrow corridors
>unlock shortcut to boss to use which I risk to die everytime
Is all the game like this? Might as well drop it now.
Dark souls wasn't this retarded, let alone Demon's souls.
It's a serviceable PvE game. It's really awkward, unpolished, inconsistent. Lacks all the charm of the series as a whole but is still an alright game. Setting this game next to Dark Souls and Demons Souls is setting unreasonably high expectations.
Nah, Pursuer is easy as fuck. It's just that the first time you have no clue how his pattern is so that first time it just feels frustratingly hard. The rest of the game has some moments like this, but none really hit you like The Pursuer. By the time you start your second playthrough, you'll be laughing at yourself wondering why you ever found the guy hard.
>3 hours to the first boss
What the fuck?
Team Deathmatch.

TANGO SUCKA
TDM is gay. this game had such a good variety of game modes that literally no one played.
Is the Zodiac age really easier than the original ?
I really enjoyed the high difficulty of FF 12 back in the days (well at least when you dont know all the tricks and subtlety of gameplay)
In the original (im european so I didnt play the zodiac international) you had to die a lot when trying to find the good strats, wich was frustrating and pleasing at the same time, I wouldnt like the game being too easy
>Dude what if we made literally half the cast be inconsequential to the story
>Dude what if we made multiple cutscenes where the main character has no idea what's going on and just stands in the background while people who matter speak
>Dude what if we made a character who's literally just a random girl off the street with no important qualities outside of an extremely large ass
>Dude what if we made a character with an interesting and nuanced backstory and then only let the player use him in one dungeon, at the end of which he dies
>Dude what if we made a villain who has zero emotional connection to the heroes and doesn't even meet them until the last ten minutes
>Dude what if we took an established setting with a million interesting species and then only included humans and bunny humans as playable characters
>Dude what if we gave the narrator a comical Apu accent
>Dude what if we made a complicated political plot and then ruined it by turning it into standard ancient god shenanigans halfway through
>Dude what if we made a plot where the heroes have almost no impact on what happens until 95% of the way through the story, and they spend their time tromping from one ancient temple to the next
>Dude what if we took everything 100% seriously and had zero levity outside of Balthier and Cid
>Dude what if we wrote all of the dialogue to sound like a Renaissance Fair
>Dude what if we we had no overworld and all travel was handled by a menu or floating teleport crystals
>Dude what if we made a battle system where you set everything up in advance so that you don't actually play the game
>Dude what if we made a level-up system where all of the characters become literally identical in function
>Dude what if we made summons useless except for opening doors
>Dude what if we put all of the interesting and unique content in sidequests
>Dude what if instead of having fun side games like the motorcycle chase and Triple Triad we had nothing
>Dude what if we had really shitty music
>>384216872
and that's how final fantasy tactics was made
>>384216694
Yes and no.
The game is easier if you choose to use the dual job feature, which as the name implies lets you have two jobs for each character.
If you ignore that however and have some fucking restraint (ain't hard to do, I've not taken any dual jobs on my characters at all), then the difficulty is just the same as you remember it.
That's the only change that will have made the game 'easier'.
3 more days until release.

What's your opinion on realism in video games?
>>384216620
Realism is a good thing as long as it doesn't come at the expense of Gameplay. What you posted is an example of mental retardation.
was that an April Fools thing?
That game actually looked kind of cool up until I saw the title.

Great part, spoiler for a tomato though.
Why did they pick a special guest appearance by RWBY over the entire Guilty Gear franchise? It doesn't make any sense.
Because Mori is a virgin.
because someone really likes rwby
>>384216186
Because they're too lazy to make new 2D Guilty Gear sprites
