Why Dark Souls 3 was so soulless?
Felt like no one in the development team cared about game at all
>All covenants were poorly designed shit
>Bosses were garbage because for some reason they decided to recycle duel fights like false king and arthorias 30 times. And don't even start with "it's because gameplay is faster", bloodborne gameplay was even faster and 90% of bosses felt very differently from each other
>Poorly designed levels you don't want to go second time through
>Boring humanoid enemies with long weapons everywhere
>Shit tier gameplay thanks to the insane stamina regen and fast as fuck estus
>Terrible magic system thanks to the return of mp, literally no reason to not always use highest dps spell, in comprassion in the des it was better to always keep different attacking spells
>Worst npc in the gaming history aka firekeeper

i'm pretty sure it will run just fine. HP1 & 2 were based on the unreal engine as far as i know and other UE games usually don't have any problems with current windows versions.

The point is quite literally that there isn't a point.
We try to justify the violence instead of just admitting we love it. Hotline Miami presents itself as a deep game but it's just a red herring, the devs knew people would try to find some kind meaning but there isn't one. It's mocking people that tries to make the game seem more tasteful and mature than it is.

I've played through Horizon and BotW thoroughly from top to bottom, and I can say that these two games are radically different. The only similarities are that they're both open worlds, they both have you pushing down on the D-Pad to call your horse, and they both have the Triforce.
Why do people compare these games like they're fucking identical?

It's double elimination. It reduces risk of "whoops" one bad set randomness. There's 3000 people who enter SFV Evo, but there's a lot of consistency in the top 32. That is part of the reason.
When the Loser gets to the finals, they're not on equal footing. The Winner has to win once, or 2 out of 3. The loser has to reset the brackets by defeating him, THEN they're on equal footing and then win again. The deck is stacked hard against the loser. It's much more impressive to win twice in a row than just once.
