I felt the same way but wasn't autistic enough to create a thread because of it. I just found it as a nuisance and continued playing. Just drop it if you're not enjoying it rather than nitpick every single grievance a game creates.

Because it's a shit idea and you'd have to be sort of shit in the head to even try such a mod, really. You seriously asked for it. I dunno what you were expecting.
Although suddenly I think you're having a giggle, because you don't start the game at level 5, or any multiple of it, so lvl 5 death wouldn't hurt you in the first battle.

So when net neutrality finally dies later this year thanks to drumpf, do I effectively have to give up playing video games for fear of it negatively affecting my credit score and chances of getting a job?
I have dozens of degenerate JRPG games in my STEAM log and pretty sure Valve would not have a problem selling it to 3rd parties and credit agencies once net neutrality dies.

Why do video games always portray wizards so poorly? ? ?
Half of the video games with wizards use them as ice mages by default which is one of the worst kinds of wizards.

So is the only reason to play this game nowadays the survival mode because of laughable physics?
Recently borrowed it from a friend for the PS2 never having before played it and I got pretty much what I expected. The story plays out like an unironic cheesy action movie. The actual gameplay is enjoyable and challenging only because of the clunkyness of controls (example of this is being jumpscared because I walk into doors instantly opening them or turn corners to be shot at immediately and cannot react quickly).
I enjoy it in small doses but I feel as if Driver:Parallel Lines is superior in almost every way unless you just enjoy the cities of Driv3r more over depressing NYC.

If I ever see it and it's less than $10 I'll pick it up. I feel they should've spent more time on the actual game than use resources on a handheld port but I'm assuming it's an "Atari insists" situation.
