Is FFXIII trilogy good.
If we judge it based on its trilogy not as any single game.
Kinda how we judge Xenosaga.
Seeing as the first game is considered decent second game considered somewhat bland and the third game being considered amazing.
except all 13 games are trash like saga 2. Xenoblade is what FF13 should have been
What are the must-have games for the Nintendo 3DS?about to pick up the new 2DS XL tomorrow
Dragon Quest 7/8
Pokemon
Bravely series
SMT
Ninty first party shit
Both screens on the N2DSXL are TN panels. Most of the non-Galaxy N3DS consoles come with at least a IPS panel on the top. FYI before you get it.
Fire EmblemEchoes
as you got older and you played videya less, how did that make you feel?
i always thought with the memeing i would feel really bad i didnt have anymore time to sink into long JRPGs or hunting for those platinum trophies, but i find i dont feel that at all.
i havent fallen out of love for videya, but i like that i value the time i spend with it more now
between full time college and double shifts i only have time for some pick up games of [TRIGGER WARNING] casual game #1rocket leagueand [TRIGGER WARNING] casual game #2overwatch
but ive substituted videya time with social time and just cooking and having a good time with my friends
my question to you anons is, how do you feel about the little time for videya you have now? are you sad? content? do you miss it?
>>383935303
You'll probably want to kill yourself at some point in your life.
>>383935303
I'm with you. I'm also attending a full time college while I work about 11 on some days to pay rent. Time is also consumed by gf and my family and also some friends. That's the reason why I play the same casual games as you do. I really tried to start fallout 4 but somehow I can't stick with something plotbased when there are so many interruptions. Well life is shitty and I miss that time when I played like 10 hours a day. However I can play sometimes with my friends the already named games.
>>383936314
>fallout 4
funny i had the exact same experience
i put it down for a bit in a plot heavy point and when i picked it back up i was like what the fuck is going on and why am i doing this when i can just start a pick up game of ____
So when will this trend of "muh graphics" and "muh simplistic, but addictive gameplay" end?
Seriously, when the bestsellers of the year are things like BotW, PUBG, CoD etc. that bring absolutely nothing new to the table, you know you have a problem.
And this has been going on for years, ever since, I dunno, 2010, I guess?
The fucking mobile gaming market has more innovation than mainstream gaming market does - that tells you how bad the situation is.
Right now, it is unfathomable for a complex and/or innovative game with budget of more than two lunchboxes to be released.
All the good complex games are made by literally-whos and lack polish, and all the polished games are the same rehashed shit from 10 years ago with minor changes to the formula.
Can't we have both?
>PUBG doesn't bring anything new to the table
What did he mean by this?
>game is not out until late 2018
>people already getting tattoos, cosplaying with the new suit, extremely excited about it
>Zelda BOTW has been out for months, the 'alleged' Greatest of all Time
>Not a single cosplay, no discussion anymore, no tattoos
What happened?
The Hard Mode DLC was too hard for normies.
Are you alleging that noone has a BOTW tattoo or has done cosplay?

someone legit explain to me what goes on in someone's head when they make this sort of decision
>nintendo hosts a comp for splatoon.
>acts like this is a thing
Why isn't splatoon E-/sp/ anyways? Is it just the lack of being able to set your own maps?
Seems like it'd be a pretty good team comp.
You can set your own maps in private battles though. I don't really know.
the japanese learned you can break the game by adding speed boosts to dyno rollers.
Splatoon 1 just didn't have spectator mode, and wasn't properly balanced since I know Rainmaker mode could be won by just getting an early lead, then bringing the RM back to your base and defending it for 5 minutes.
There's also a lot of broken shit like Splash Walls and the Kraken, where 1 Kraken can win a game easily, as well as Attack Up stacking Burst Bomb users, making what's supposed to be a last ditch attempt at saving yourself incredibly deadly, among other things.
Splatoon 2 comes with spectator mode, removed Attack Ups entirely, and has redone all the specials so there are no more panic buttons/get out of jail free cards. Combined with how Nintendo updated the ranking system and added League mode or whatever means that we can be looking forward to a genuine Splatoon 2 competitive community in the future. I'm personally blown away by how well Nintendo has handled it, so I'm hoping to worm my way into my own squad when the game comes out.
tl;dr, splatoon 1 was a mess balance wise, splatoon 2 is when you can expect true competition
Skyrim thread. I know, I know.
Let's have some neat screenshots and stuff.
Keep your ridiculous globular waifus in /tesg/.
You think deep down he just wants to make a Mario game one day?
>>383934875
Clearly, Lost World made it very obvious.
>>383934875
Of course. Shit like the Wisps and Lost World prove it
>>383934875
He's probably waiting for the chance to work on the Mario and Sonic crossover that hasn't happened yet for some reason

I really wanted the love this game but I just cant, the abysmal frame pacing ruins it for me
Dark Souls 3 runs much better and its on the same engine. Why cant they just patch it?
>>383934802
Their excuse for the lack of patch on pro was balancing issues for online play.

Are you describing the game or /v/ users - most of us reading this were raised by overly-indulgent and somewhat wealthy parents, we could have made a success of ourselves.
