Took me ages to figure out that my brake button was unbound by default. Why did they never localize this anyway? All they needed to do was to swap about two pages worth of text. Most of the game is already in English.

I know it's a specific scenario on a portable instead of a console proper, but you have to consider they tried the remake thing with MMX via MM:MHX and it did not take well.
The idea I assume they receive is that it's better to just rerelease the originals with some alteration rather than remake something that makes less than that. You'll have a hard time convincing anyone that the effort in doing otherwise is worth it outside of pleasing you personally.

True. MHX tried /too/ hard with cutscenes and voiceover. I mean just new BGs and sprites similar to the clarity of what say, Wayforward does. Plus using the remastered OSTs that are already available would be sublime. Though this is truly out of self indulgence.
