This fucking piece of shit of a game from a company that has a bajillion fucking dollars that came out 17 months ago is still, to this day, exhibiting unacceptable netcode on the PS4. 17 fucking months and Capcom has continued to let retarded monkeys handle their shit fucking netcode. I like the mechanics. Karin is a fun character to play as. I like that it's a little more accessible to SF4. I even like the DLC model of allowing players to buy characters with in-game currency. It's overpriced, sure, but at least you can get three or four DLC characters pretty easily by completing 100%'ing Story Mode and doing some Challenges, which are good for learning characters as well. I really want to like this game but no, a good 50% of matches, without fail, will have stuttering so bad it would make Michael J. Fucking Fox cringe. Searching for only 5-bar connections is a hilarious joke on the player because they still enter the lottery on entering a playable match but now with the added bonus on waiting a goddamn year for it to start too! What has Capcom done to fix this? "LOL, here's a blacklist so you don't run into players with an unstable connection again thanks for playing :^)" Meanwhile, their competition is making online it's fucking bitch! Back when Ultimate Marvel 3 was the joke of the town for its online netcode, Persona 4 Arena featured LITERALLY FLAWLESS NETCODE. A company with half the budget making a fucking licensed game outperformed Capcom's bitch ass! I'm done, man. I'm fucking done. I'm sure it's fine on PC but this game is fucking worthless on PS4.

Is getting a 144hz monitor worth it if I don't play any competitive meme games? I'm worried that most of the games that I'll end up playing won't even support 144hz and if they do there will most likely be bugs with the gameplay/physics or some shit. I currently use a 1440p/60hz IPS monitor and if I get a 144hz monitor it will most likely be 1080p with a TN panel.

do games need support for 144hz? i was under the impression that if you have a monstrous enough rig, or play an old enough game, that it will output at whatever the hardware is capable of, and its up to your tv and cable(certain hdmi cords beung unable to put out higher hzs) to be able to display that output
but it really depends on your gpu and how many games you think its capable of displaying above 60hz, and how many of those youll play regularly. it is a noticeable difference, but its up to you to determine how much value you put on that

I'd literally hand them Skyrim. There, get used to moving and looking in first person, exploring, quest systems and loot / inventory management.
After that it's up to them to decide to learn how to play strategy, sims, etc. But I think any basic RPG is enough to get people going on console games.

I loved this game but I had to ragequit after 5h because of how stupid some room designs are and how unfair it is. this is coming from a guy that 100%'d Super Meat Boy. The End is Nigh is sometimes simply not fun because it adds some kind of artificial bullshit with the enemies. It's a great game, but SMB will forever be better because it's a platformer that doesn't use bullshit to make the game more difficult but rather uses great level design.
Thoughts?

I loved Edmund Super Meat Boy and Rebirth are my favourite games I 100% Rebirth 2 times and SMB once, afterbirth was when I saw the cracks tho it was the expansion nobody wanted, Edmund even admitted with Isaac he didn't know what the fans wanted.

If you liked Meat Boy it's worth trying. You can get a good feel for it within two hours and refund it if it's not your thing, since some people seem to hate the less momentum focused platforming. Hard to say how much of this game is Edmund and how much is Tyler.
Difficulty feels pretty good, I wasn't bothered by the things that annoyed OP the hardest cartridges are meant to be the hardest challenges, which is fine since getting through the game feel like a pretty fair challenge. I think the ledge grab mechanic can be a little fiddly. It works as intended, but you're going to occasionally accidentally grab a ledge. The levels are strung along sequentially and there's some light exploration in finding secret areas, but going back to search for secrets means you have to play through a whole area rather than choosing one level from it.
Feels less polished than Meat Boy. Just little things like how all the bonus areas had different visual themes in Meat Boy, but they all just have an Atari 2600 look here. Sometimes going backwards to the last room will drop you into a near instant death that's hard to get out of. Little stuff like that that adds up, but not to a major detriment.
