Many JRPGs especially will give a nod of recognition if you manage this. Almost none will 'play out differently', but most will at least tip their hat or give you an easter egg of some sort in recognition of beating something that was intended to be unbeatable.

It's a very pretty space sim. For content you'll be better off with Evochron Legacy, X3: Albion Prelude or Freespace 2 if you just want a solid sim and don't care about space trucking as much.

I'm inclined to say it's a meme.

It's a reason for more flight sticks being made though, which is a nice knock on effect for sim autists. And since all the normies play ED it's a containment game in itself

The Game of Thrones mod for Crusader Kings 2 is the better GoT mod. It's fun as fuck, customizable, you're able to play as a whole bunch of characters, and it's got the most replay value.

Btw i hear that a World of Ice and Fire has custom quests based on the tv series while CoK is more like traditional MnB with a GoT filter applied on it.
