Why Konami made an exclusive MGS for Gamecube, but never ported MGS 2 or 3 to that console? They also didn't port Silent Hill, Castelvania and PES games to Gamecube during that time

Probably storage optimization issues. Mini discs were a mistake when they couldn't hold as much as a regular CD.

Short answer is no. It's too easy, the voice acting is worse and the new cutscenes (while subjective of course) are often said to be too over the top, even for Metal Gear Solid.

Does a large social media presence (Twitter followers, Youtube views, etc) correlate to sales? I know most of us aren't marketing experts but with all the money that is put into these things have any companies ever actually translated those numbers into actual sales or money?

I think the point of putting effort into social media is the fact that it takes very little money to do so. PR Directors are always going to be a part of a large company, and they're always going to be payed the same amount, so the PR director might as well make his/her life easier by promoting their company's products through a free platform. And worst case scenario, if they DO pay money, it'll be a very miniscule amount versus other means.

Skyrim is the most overrated game of all time. Far from being a decent RPG, it's not even a good Elder Scrolls, not that Bethesda RPGs are good to begin with. Plagued with a world as expansive as it is shallow and unimmersive. And full to the brim with quests lacking any sort of creativity as you are sent to the 200th draugr dungeon as all the action happens behind your back. Skyrim's legacy is one of being a game designed for casuals who have never played an RPG to immerse themselves in a story so unoriginal, unambitious, and inoffensive that not even the most tight Virginia anus could take issue with it. It is simply a game empirically designed to be as bland as possible to rake in the largest audience.

I'm about to spend the weekend with my ~~in-laws~~ and I'm looking for something I can play on my PSP whilst I'm there.

I want something I can pick up and play, maybe a SRPG or something that I can grind in. Any recommendations? Is pic related any good for this sort of thing or is it more story driven?

Story is meh as it "tries" to loosely follow the tale of the real Jeanne D'Arc, including the burning at the stake. Gameplay is bretty gud, but feels somewhat bare compared to say, FFT or Tactics Ogre.
Archers are OP as fuck, as is anyone that can transform thanks to boosted stats and Godspeed. Colet is shit until postgame when you get Four Hits where he becomes the best character.
