>The treatment of Gwyndolin shows three things: sexism, transmisogyny, and homophobia. They reveal this idea that women exist to be attractive for and to men, exist basically for the benefit of men looking at them (sexism). The moment a woman is revealed not to be a ‘real’ woman (whatever ‘real’ women may be), and is instead interpreted as a man dressed up as a woman, she is understood as a ‘trap’ because she used the image of a woman to get a man interested, only to be revealed to supposedly not be a woman (transmisogyny). Heterosexual men perceive this as a threat to their sexuality, because so long as they interpret this woman as a man, it means that their attraction to her makes them homosexual, which they must insist they are not because it’s bad (homophobia). And thus, because they discredit a trans woman’s femininity, they must call her a trap, as it lays the blame of their attraction on her, and as such safeguards their heterosexuality and by extension their masculinity. In this sense, (heterosexual) masculinity itself is performative.

Also, the Cultural Anthropologist that wrote this gave us the conclusion too. This was the final paper to get a Bachelor's degree. All I had to do for mine was build a fan and program it to blow harder when you're far away.

You should. It's absolutely fascinating how little an outsider understands about traps.
Bundle Stars has all three Jackbox packs on sale right now for $23.99
https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/the-jackbox-party-trilogy
For reference, one Jackbox game is $24.99 on Steam right now and the trilogy is $59.97
The two-pack is also on Bundle Stars right now for $17.99 https://www.bundlestars.com/en/bundle/the-jackbox-combo-pack
Sweet deal.
For you cheapos, they're also on sale individually. 1 and 3 are $12.50 and 2 is $7.50 for some weird reason.

Western Mech
>more durability
>better long range/explosive weapons
Eastern Mech
>more mobility
>better close range/melee weapons
Which do you prefer to play as? Also, any games that feature both?
>Eastern Mecha designed by a Westerner
I personally prefer playing eastern mecha games, because i like gundam and armored core and whatnot. I'll also play western mecha games, i like all mecha. it's a shame it's a dead genre
"Western" mechs dont exist

Kazuhira ''Diamond Dogs not Welfare Nignogs'' Miller
I've seen several threads about it with not one actual discussion.
Anyone played it yet?
Looks comfy and fun for $10 and I like how unlike Banished it actually has some combat
I expected this game to be awful, but is quite fun, the story and characters are also surprisingly decent too.
Yeah SK2 is probably the best game in the franchise.
Playing the Versus games will definitely knock you down a peg (unless you're playing New Hebijo on Shinovi Versus storyline).
Here's hoping SK7 is more in line with the 3DS games in terms of atmosphere and storytelling.

Don't expect any other game in the series to be more than mediocre, unfortunately.
I never played this before, how does it compare to FFT? Also, is the PSP version OK or should I get one of the older ones?
>>384631553
>384631553
PSP version is good if you can handle that they went from a poor translation to a "thematic" but otherwise good translation. PSP is the easier of the versions as they made it so classes and characters both have levels so if you want to train up a new class a strong character can do it and if you want to train up a new character a strong class can help.
>>384631553
i only played the psp one, its my favourite psp gamestill havent beat it
>>384632254
>"thematic" translation
I don't know what this means. I don't think I would care, anyway.
About the difficulty, which is more enjoyable? Is this one too easy, or was the original too hard?
I've seen next to no threads for Pyre. Anyone excited for this one? I think it looks less appealing upfront than Bastion or Transistor but I somewhat trust it'll at least be good.
