For many years Final Fantasy was my favourite game franchise, but after XIII my interest began to wane. I haven't really followed news concerning XV at all, how is the game? I hear it's been updated quite a lot, and there's DLC too. Should I wait until the inevitable "complete edition" hits the bargain bins? Is XV even that good?

Combination of Nintendo relying on gimmicks, their inability to make a console up to the technical specs of other consoles out at the time and their failure at having 3rd party support because of that.
I know Nintendo fans like to say otherwise, but if Nintendo made a real fucking system again they'd probably be able to dominate the console market like they used to. But it's probably too late for that.

The WiU was a transitional platform (that's why it shares half its name with the Wii, unlike the rest of Nintendo's consoles).

Nothing. The game is fucking garbage. The only souls game worse than bloodborne was dark souls 2. If you think objectively about it you know it's true, but I'm pretty sure you wasted 400 bucks and feel the need to convince yourself otherwise.
