Gungeon is polished but sluggishly-paced, your mileage will vary depending on your personal tastes.
Nuclear Throne is lightning-fast but unfinished and abandoned, so you're better off downloading the DRM-free version of Nuclear Throne Together because the community cares more about the game than the developers do.

Rabi-Ribi, if you can get over the fact it looks like total weeb waifu bait but the gameplay is genuinely good. Its a metroidvania style game but the boss fights have a bullet hell style to them and the OST is fantastic.

I can get behind localisation to make the foreign demographics feel familiar, but censorship isn't cool at all man. It's not the 90's anymore and the media doesn't give shit about vidyas except for the gawker and its varients.

The best vidya genre is FPS. Story heavy JRPG is fucking boring as hell. Any game that tries to be a "deconstruction" of some genre instead of trying to be a good game on its own not being bounded by the cataloging of genres is a hot trash aimed at hipsters.

How come Injustice 2 got better reviews than Tekken 7?

>Decent netcode after patches
>Silly but fun story mode
>Cute female characters
>Gives SJWs the finger
>No bullshit DLC
>Harada is a cool guy

The fact that Injustice 2 got better reviews proves that game critics are paid off.

Just started playing Peacewalker and I'm loving it (aside from the janky controls of the PSP). My only question is why the fuck are Snake and Kaz so obsessed with Che Guevara? Listening to the tapes about him they sound like they furiously jack off to pictures of him every night.

Because he's pretty much their idol. He represents a lot of what they're fighting for. Glad you're liking Peace Walker tho, I never understood the hate it got here. I thought it was fantastic. I did play on Xbox 360 FWIW, can't really imagine playing it on PSP would be as fun.

It especially sucks because I use the tranquilizer pistol and head shots at anything other than close range are much harder than they should be, but handhelds are comfy so there's that. My biggest issues with it are the lack of actual cutscenes and the fact that it's not linear like the 3 before it but it pulls it off pretty well.
