Because it's probably the first game you ever played in your life. Either that or you are a furry.
The only good thing about the game was the background of some areas. Everything else, from babby tier combat wirh zero challenge even on highest difficulty (spam main combo not only to kill mindless mobs but also to defend yourself from any attack thanks to the huge parry window), forgettable music, shitty artstyle, linear as fuck level design even for a bootleg metroidvania, retarded upgrade distribution (get 90% of your powers on tutorial level, then nothing but boring level ups for vast majority of the game) and one of the most annoying sidekick I've ever seen in a video game.
