I recently had a birthday, and had a bunch of money given to me. I was thinking I would pick up either a Switch or an OLED Vita to play vidya on the go (my job is third shift and requires waiting for something to go wrong).
Anyways, I started doing research into the available games, and I just don't see how the Switch capitalizes on its portable potential at all. There's no Salt and Sanctuary, no Hyper Light Drifter, no Don't Starve, no Darkest Dungeon, no Slain: Back From Hell. There's not even a Virtual Console, to play older games on the go (Vita has PS Classics).
Seriously, how can anyone be psyched about the Switch, when, for the same price, you can pick up a Vita, a 64GB memory card, AND a few games, especially when you consider that Sony has been doing the best out of consoles regarding sales (and Nintendo has been the worst)?
What's the point? I'm genuinely confused.
Also, before someone accuses me of being biased, I own a Wii U, and didn't regret the purchase (XCX justifies the purchase by itself, in my opinion).

This. I made the mistake of buying it too early but BOTW was pretty good and I'm importing MHXX while I play Yakuza 0 and Danganronpa.
I'd suggest the Vita too if you're into those kinds of games. I have an OELD version and a PSTV.

Games with color coded loot? I want to kit out my character with equipment that has a high rarity but also feels worthwhile.
Good examples:

Bad Examples:

The map could be based on many cities/areas in the united states, stretching from florida to california (Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, etc.).
We could have an interesting cast of characters. Hispanics are more expressive and more unique than blacks. There could be very masculine tough guys, and also weak and funny characters like Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite.
The wide array of locations means there is a good amount of options to choose from for chase scenes, gunfights, etc.
Also conflicts between black and white gangs may be of interest.
