Yeah, I'm glad they took the time to prioritize the main campaign over some half-baked multiplayer add-on, but it feels like it would have been perfect for online competition.

I remember having a library of about 40 games that worked only half the time, and even then for only 10 minutes at a time. SNES is a massively better console.

Golden is better in every way, but the original is still fantastic. If there are other Vita games you're interested in, I'd recommend buying a Vita TV. They're really cheap, only like $50. I've seen them as low as $20 before too.

The rules of sports don't change dramatically year to year, and most of the people who actually buy sports games only really want the new games for roster updates. OTOH, people who tend to like DW-type games expect something at least slightly new with each game rather than a slight paintjob over the same button mashing they've been playing since Bush Jr. took office.

Granted, sports games could use some shakeup (FIFA Mortal Kombat-style post-game riot mode when), but it really comes down to the consumers.
