>mentor is the final boss
>LOL ACKCHUALLY the whole game was all a dream haha
Wasted $250 and 60 hours on this shit. Fuck you guys.
But was it a dream?
Really tho?
How do you "waste" 60 hours of your life on a game you don't enjoy?
Do you have no life at all?
>>386129724
It's based off lovecraft lore.
The entirety of reality is Azathothss dream, if Azathoth were to ever wake up reality would end.
Bloodborne takes the same idea, Even though you're in different dream worlds each are a separate reality.

why is this gta so populair?
best aesthetic, best atmosphere, best soundtrack
I prefer San Andreas, but both are really fun and great games. Also, what >>386129559 said.
Pop culture satire that teens and adults pick up on, violence and mayhem that kids and teens love, lots of freedom and room for messing around in a big playground with lots of toys which appeals to most everyone who like violent games and haven't grown too cynical to have fun with that.
Essentially it combines a lot of things that several demographics really enjoy. There's plenty for adults, teens and kids to have fun with in GTA, and its pseudo controversial nature makes it a talking point, especially with younger players, causing a ripple effect with more of them picking up the game everyone's talking about.
I need help /v/.
Few months ago, I bought a Nitro + RX 480 8G for ~290 euros. It has been alright, performance is sweet, only problem I had was in Fallout 4 with just dismal frame drops in downtown Boston(30fps)
Now with all this crazyness around Etherium mining, GPU prices have skyrocketed, and I am in a position where i can sell this card for 380euros.
I've been out of work for a good part of the last month and needless to say, cash this is a bit low.
Now the real question is:
Should I sell this card and get a 250e 3G GTX 1060, and just keep the difference, or go with a 6G model for 350 euros?
Whatever I do, if I sell it, I get a cash boost. Or do I just keep this card since I belive it is the superior product.
I was literally thinking this very same question up until yesterday. I've been successfully gaming on my good old GTX 560ti since 2011, and only now has it started to show its age with SOME of the newer games. My options were to poorfag-upgrade with 1050ti 4GB or 3GB GTX 1060, or bite the bullet and get 6GB version.
In the end, I did grab 6GB variant just yesterday. It did help that I did find one, brand new off an online store, for mere ~280 €. The cheapest 3GB were mere 220€, but I brainstormed that 6GB would not only last me a long while longer, but also be borderline necessity if I ever dare to test the waters with VR.
tl;dr: if ya can find 6GB variants for 300 eurobux like I did, take it. It won't let you down; even the 3GB can do stuff like Witcher 3 at Very High pre-set at around 55-60fps average.

this is more a /biz/ or /g/ question but I think the mining craze is dieing down. There is also no reason you should pay for 350e for a 1060, it's roughly equivalent to your 480.
I wouldn't recommend it
>>386129418
if you need the money sell and order a list price 1050ti. you will be waiting weeks for it but its cheap and does the job.
if not. dont fucking sell you cretin. its a fantastic card, under volt for more stability.
>Tfw I only bought and played the first Assassins Creed up to now, but I'm going to buy the new one.
I read a preview in a gaming magazine that runs in my country. Looks like they're finally mixing the formula and controls up a little bit, and actually put some time and effort into this one instead of just annual crap. Besides, since I've only played the first one, which wasn't even the best

Why did vanilla/tbc warlocks so fun?
wat
Getting nerfed in every single patch and routinely stunlocked to death by rogues was not fun.
>>386129854
That was the fate of everyone who wasn't a rogue himself or a warrior during vanilla.
Post games you couldn't bring yourself to finish because they were boring, nu-fun, and/or disappointing.
Multiplayer only ones work to but replace "finished" with "like."
>>386128768
going to need one good and detailed explanation on what the fuck 'nu-fun' is supposed to mean because my sneaking suspiscion tells me that it's not even close to meaning what I think it is

Given this is a neo-/v/ poster in guessing it means a game that has the user interact with it for over 90% of the game, has a minimal amount of cutscenes and uses vibrant color instead of gritty realism.
Are humans holding back AI development in video games?
What if AI got so good that gamers could no longer beat them?
How are human bois suppose to compete with robots, AI and machine learning?
>What if AI got so good that gamers could no longer beat them?
it's really easy to develop AI that will always beat players
>>386128748
Video game AI is not supposed to be GOOD. It's supposed to be believable and fun enough to enjoy the game.
The good AI would just dispatch the player characters as effectively as possible. Nobody would play this kind of game.
Of course it's not an excuse for dumbing down the AI in game any further.
>>386128748
Bot can be given constant wallhacks and automatic tracking of the human enemy through walls and during movement
really bots are already capable of fucking up the player beyond belief but using htos tactics is bullshit
Now, what people really want is bots being able to surprise and outsmart a human player
that shit is hard to do and it's more than modern game devs are willing to work on a game
You are going to buy the new Spiderman, right goy?

No bullshit, this alone has justified my Oculus Rift purchase. You're basically in an Alien movie (and a damn good one, to boot).

Thanks to Cuckey Palmer, I wouldn't buy an Oculus Rift if it cost $20 and cured cancer.

Not yet. The guy said that he was focusing on Oculus for the time being, and then adding Vive support.
