Are there any games that accurately depict the capricious and unpredictable nature of magic and spells?

Probably would have worked correctly if he didn't have autism.

Fuck off Chris it will always be funny
>>386164759
>accurately
I'm probably moving to Berlin in a few weeks and I was wondering how my games will be affected. If I buy Wolfenstein will it automatically be the censored version or can I buy the non-cucked version because my steam account is not German? Also will my existing library get censored when I move and log on in Germany?
>swastikas are banned in germany
>even in games where you are FIGHTING nazis
what the fuck is wrong with europe?
>>386164423
>Germany does something stupid
>asks what's wrong with all of Europe
>>386164327
Having swastikas in your games is a punishable offense in Germany so you'll probably either get fined or get a light jail sentence
Hey guys, so I want to play Dragon's Dogma - Dark Arisen but I'm not sure what vocation I'm going to pick.
I thought Sorcerer because the spells in this game are really cool, but it looks slow as fuck and I think I'd need knowledge about elemental weaknesses for every mob, it just doesn't look like a beginner-friendly class.
Maybe my pawn could be one, but I doubt the AI will do the job correctly (using lightning against a fire-weak mob, getting too close to the ennemy and getting killed in a few seconds,...).
What are your thoughts? Share your personnal experience.
My second pick is Fighter.

If you like mobility and playing it safe - pick Strider, so you can later on switch to Magick Archer and cheese the fuck out of every second mob in BB (the expansion dungeon). The AI is actually really decent in picking what to use against whom and you can indirectly set their behaviours by talking to them at special chairs and tables around the world. Fighter is what you would expect - Kingdoms of Amalur + Shadow of Colossus.
DESU just look at the the advanced/hybrid vocations, pick one and choose a starter class closest to its general profile. You can also carry some passive bonuses over between certain classes.
sorcs are good but absolutely suck ass to play, since 80% of the time is spent standing still and casting spells (aka doing nothing). give it to one of your pawns
if you want a magic class, go magic archer or mystic knight.
It's really easy to switch vocations anyway, the game is designed so you can try out a vocation and then switch if you don't like it.

Biggest piece of advice is do not minmax your first time playing. In the vanilla game it was necessary to get the most out of some vocations. With the release of bitter black isle, BBI level 3 weapons, gear, and the correct passives will make up the bulk of your stats. Put it this way, with identical end game gear, the difference in a perfectly minmax character and a character with the worst stat allocation is only a ~8% difference in damage.
Just go in and enjoy yourself. Also, if you are on steam, you can make new steam accounts with gmail accounts and game share with yourself. Add your new account to your friends list and you can share your own pawns from your different accounts, so you can have multiple saves without having to mess around with your save file (which can corrupt it). Makes trying out new builds easy, and its a lot of fun to roll with a full party of your own geared and trained pawns.
would the game not need to have micro transactions or DLC and maybe even not as much as a preorder reliance? I would be fine paying a little bit more just to have the full game since it's perfectly clear that big game studios won't be doing this on their own.
>>386164152
Its hard to trust the game industry. They would most likely just take your money and make shit dlc.
Nope! they'd charge 70, then still release DLC as they do now, because people are willing to pay for it. If people would stop buying loot crates, DLC, etc, then it wouldnt be as bad as it is now. But since people are still happily buying it, its only going to get worse.
I'd be fine with that. But isn't that what season passes are?
Now that the dust has settled: was it worth the wait?
>>386163428
nope
>>386163428
Are you fucking kidding me? Hell no.
>>386163428
Not even remotely.
Even without the wait this would've been mediocre as fuck. If anything, the time between this and SotC is the only reason it was regarded as well as it was.
Why isn't there a Discord server where all of us can join and play PC and console games with each other? Somebody make one please
You don't want to play with /v/. Majority of people here are underage
>>386163054
Why would anyone want to hang out with you?
>>386163054
Added someone on /v/ and they were some weird ass furry who was in like 3 groups.
Seriously, fuck you /V/. With all the shit you constantly give MGSV , I thought that it was one of the worst games ever. I decided to check its Wikipedia page and it's considered one of the best stealth games of all time with perfect scores from a lot of publications. Seriiusly, do you faggots just live off trying to be the counterculture that hates on anything considered great or greatly renowned while loving absolute garbage that nobody else likes?
It's a decent game, much better than the trash that is MGS 4
Behead all MGS 4 defenders
game is fine, but story is michael bay tier. Which makes is shit as a mgs game
>>386163021
Its garbage and the constant shitpost has been getting really annoying lately.

Does /v/ hate every popular game out there?
They also hate every unpopular game out there
>>386161106
i'd fuck him
>>386162224
That's a guy? I would fuck him too.
Explain
Why aren't you getting this?
>>386160872
Don't have a 3DS
>>386160872
Because Sun and Moon were the worst Pokemon games yet. Gen 7 was a mistake.
im tired of pokemon, same game, story is bland, rivals are more friendly, you have to deal with more cutscenes than playthrough, game becomes easier, postgames are no longer interesting.
Maybe i grew up already i don't find it fun, but hey. At least digimon is getting fun now, see ya!
>main theme with lyrics
>levels are are just ambience
>hat gimmick that will get old fast
>worlds are empty as fuck with hardly an platforming
>repetitive boss battles
The more I see of it, the more I'm less hyped. I think this will go down as the Sonic '06 of Mario.
>empty as fuck
Is there a more low-effort criticism than this?
>>386160251
It feels like nintendo is trying to make a mario game as bad as sonics 3d outings just to see if they can get away with it.
Its made by Nintendo, alright? They can do no wrong. Literally anything Nintendo makes is 10/10 masterpiece classic you dumb faggot. Even if they make raping you're mom simulator, you gonna play and love it, stupid bitch.
You WILL buy this game
>>386160083
In the name of Alpha Team, I will purchase Destiny 2 on PS4
lol nope
>>386160083
You WILL stop posting this trash
>a new Twinbee game is coming out for the Switch
Is Konami finally redeeming itself?
>>386161426
It's painfully obvious how no developers want to invest in big projects on Switch. All it gets are re-releases and low budget titles.
>>386161426
>collection
Although this box art is fake, this title would still imply that it's just a compilation of other twinbee games
>>386161426
>TwinBee
KONAMI YOU FUCKING PIECES OF SHIT WHERE THE FUCK IS MY GRADIUS COLLECTION?
