The high school hijinks only serves as a hub for slice of life shenanigans between chapters.. You get to go around to other places around the empire.

Looks and sounds great. Gameplay is shallow and too repetitive. The much ballyhooed AI is easy to exploit and overall pretty dumb, and the game has a ridiculous amount of busywork to extend the length.

From beginning of game until end of medical bay level: 9/10

The remaining 15 hours of the game: 3/10

But that's not a wholly unfair criticism.

Doom can best be characterized as an honest effort to make a good game by untalented people on the back of a great old game.

And so it's alright, it's strength is in the core concept, everything else isn't executed very well.

Oney is selling it. Also he confirmed on Twitter that Youtube offered to help him claim any video that tried to use his meme and make money off of it. But Oney declined. I don't know if that makes him a good person or a dumb person to lose a good opportunity.

I remember this game so fondly. My fishing level was like 98 or something. I almost had the skillcape.

How is it compared to Skyrim? I jumped from Morrowind to Skyrim and was disappointed.
