An action game with slight rpg elements that rewards coordination, or at least memory and multiple tries to overcome hurdles. Every boss or zone, once completed, offers endorphin release that most games don't really compare to anymore, because a lot of games are just piss easy. Not that Dark Souls is particularly hard, but it's harder than most other games on the market.

Never played a Megami Tensei game, thinking about giving Person 3 a shot. Is P3P a viable option for a first playthrough? I see a lot of people complaining that the lack of a 3D world when outside of dungeons ruins the game, but I think portability is a huge plus that might make the grinding more bearable since I don't have to be stuck at home for hours playing the game.

Why the FUCK don't you own one of these yet?
-only first-party gamepad of the past two generations to have not only a good d-pad, but a GREAT one (although to be fair I haven't tried the xbone or xbone elite)
-perfectly balanced analog sticks that make aiming easier than I thought it could ever be on a controller
-lovely feeling buttons
-comfy as hell to hold
-80 fucking hours of battery life
-the only full gamepad youu should be considering for emulation or platformers, really anything that uses a d-pad
In the name of complete honesty, here are the few flaws I can think of:
-no analogue triggers
-can be easy to slide thumbs around on analogue sticks, can be fixed with gel coverings
-without a $15 dongle, set-up is kind of a bitch on PC
-no wired mode
If you can put up with those, which are by no means dealbreakers, this is the best controller ever made
