Partially my fault but it's going on my thesis: "Living with 4chan, chapter IV: /v/ on your couch for a week".
He played a lot of DMC: DMC too, I guess because it's not on Steam. I personally have zero interest in playing that game at all.
To be fair, he had shit going on at home and was fighting off an infection, but I found it a little staggering towards the end.
Anyways, this is NOT a blog post. it's a warning. DO NOT EVER PLAY ALEX KIDD IN MIRACLE WORLD. I firmly now believe that game kills brain cells faster than the voice acting from SOTN.

He was willing to take me up on a bet possibly. I posted a thread in his words about how he believes an adult could not beat the original Zelda without a guide. I think if you gave me even six weeks, I could do it, and I remember fuck all about it. Opinions? I know I'd be checking a lot of tilesets.

i've thought about getting one for that reason at times, but the biggest deterrent is that there are fuckall actual 4K movies on 4K bluray. it is almost entirely 2K upscales, even for new movies.
i'd totally buy one if more japanese 360 games were compatible with it though since it's easier to buy an xbone locally than to import a 360 from the moon. where's muh idolmaster microsoft?

2010 - Read Dead, Mafia 2, Mass Effect 2, Bad company 2, Bioshock 2, New Vegas, AC Brotherhood, Just Cause 2, Metro 2033, Medal of Honor + More and some great Dlcs. BC Vietnam, Undead Nightmare.
2016 - Doom (ok), Overwatch (Overrated), Uncharted (decent). BF1 (letdown). Mafia III (dreadful).

I like Dragon Age better than the Witcher and can't wait for the next game.
I think Resident Evil 6 is the best co op game ever.
MGS2 is the best in the series not 3.
Chie and Sadayo are best girls.
I enjoyed FF13 but did not care for 15.
I don't mind linear story driven games sometimes.
I'll happily switch to easy mode straight away if there is no achievement or the gameplay is not fun but I like the plot.
There is nothing wrong with different races,genders or lgbt people getting representation in games and if triggers you that's your problem and not the industry.
People who can't play shooters with a controller have a mental disability.
Skyrim is terrible even with mods.

How do you play a game like this? In every mission, sometimes you're bound to alert an enemy, and then the whole base goes into alarm mode and all your progress is for nothing. Do you just start over all the time? Do you go inch by inch, taking 4 hours for a mission? I feel like I'm playing the game wrong if I'm being detected all the time and just have to shoot everybody.

I hate to say it, but just git gud.
It gives you plenty of chances to scout your path. Do that and just avoid enemies.

MGSV handles escalation so well. It's more like a carefully crafted plan slowly falling apart and forcing you to go louder and louder. I tend to go perfect stealth until I get spotted, then drop them with non-lethal. From then on, I go non-lethal until I get spotted by somebody that I can't take down with darts, and then it's silenced lethal until my silencer runs out. The game works at every pace, and it's so forgiving that you could just run loud every mission and still complete them.
