I've been barking up this tree since the game came out. Everyone on /v/ dry humps it, but the battle system is so convoluted, that even after doing the entirety of the tutorial, I still couldn't figure out what actual fuck I was supposed to be doing in combat.

I think I'd stand a better chance learning astrophysics than playing this needlessly complex and grindy game with zero story

HotS is pretty fun but I can understand why people don't like it. I'd say either HotS or LoL

I've put thousands of hours into nearly every popular moba, so I can tell you to just ignore the genre. The games are fun with friends, but can be miserable alone. I'd start with hots just because it's new and more player friendly. LoL is toxic dota is clumsy. AMA if you want any specifics

I do believe the gameplay will be good. Solid 7/10 or 8/10 in that regard. But tone, style, atmosphere, all that? It'll be the same confused mess it's always been when in 3D. They just don't know what they want.

The second the Unleashed gameplay showed, in tandem with the name "Forces," I think everyone should have expected the same shittiness that has become the norm.

Having three gameplay styles is going to hurt it hard.
It'll probably end up an unfocused mess.
