Just got Dragon's Dogma on steam because it's cheap. Holy shit this game is fucking awesome. It has so much attention to details and climbing is amazing. It's like monhun+sotc. My dream came true.
I've started the game on hard mode and so far it's really fucking hard. I need to focus in every battle and can't just blindly mash. Even 2 dogs can kill me if i act recklessly.
So i googled about what class to chose and apparently there is some kind of min maxing and it kinda necessary for some endgame dragon boss. How do i min max? Is it bad to play same class for whole game? What's the most op/underpowered class? What's the easiest/hardest? I started as fighter but i'm afraid that i'll be weak in endgame areas. Any tips?

The game is piss easy by the time you get to the city, because youve overlevelled from doing sidequests in an rpg. Hard mode makes it even easier because of extra exp.

Different classes get different stat gains when they level up, there is also a stat growth sheet you can look up. Minmaxing isn't really required though.

Awful balance, everything that is related to how damage/defence is calculated, stat growth, casting system, skill slots, abundance of healing items is straight fucking awful.
Boring, empty, clearly unfinished open world.
Clusterfuck of a story.
Even then, it managed to be surprisingly fun and even addictive. But it's one heavily flawed game.
