No. It's what made FFVIII one of the few FF games that requires exploration. People often think Zell or Selphie are bland characters since they don't get a huge backstory. But they do have a backstory. You just have to talk to all the people in their home town/garden.

If you like that kind of thing, then basically all of Dragon Quest and Suikoden is something you should play.

Honest question, what RPG games give magic the same utility, power, and progression that BG had? There was something special about watching your piddly little mage go from shooting 1 tiny magic missle to casually summoning demigods and freezing time with a snap.

I'm looking forward to it but the new thing that has me worried about it is the space battles. Aside from it not being real cruiser space battles that everyone wanted, it looked so damn slow and being on the defense on these objective based flight modes was not much fun in the first nu-battlefront

According to some leaks there are some ships that haven't been shown just can't remember where I saw it, OT ships that is. And there is more prequel era heroes that also haven't been shown that were in these same leaks, such as Grievous and Obi-Wan. The loot crate system is probably the worst thing about it.

The problem with the boarding action is that is got very boring and the novel wore off after a while, you eventually started trying to win without entering the enemy ship or just using their own turrets to blow their stuff up. What everyone really wanted was ground to space or at least atmosphere battles like Battlefront 3 always promised but that may happen with the Kamino map since you see some troops on the ground.

I think the reason the gameplay looked slow was because everyone playing would kill the engine to get better aim on their targets.

It certainly is the best game in the series. It perfectly encapsulates the history and high points of the series.

Usually all my runs I end up lv 99 at the end of disc 2, this time I won't be going over lv40, I wonder if I'll be able to beat it.
