http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Power_Suit
"Samus' Power Suit requires superhuman levels of concentration and mental determination to operate efficiently."
"But it has also been observed that she can have it materialize at will"
Sakamoto: "For Samus to remain connected with the Power Suit requires mental energy unfathomable to an ordinary person. In situations like this when she is under pressure, indeed, even Samus is unable to concentrate her mental energy. However, when Samus completes the trial of the spirit of the mural (God of War), she regains her strong force of will and can successfully integrate with the Legendary Power Suit."
Sakamoto: "Only the chosen few can wear the Legendary Power Suit. Those who prevail over the trials of the spirit of the mural (God of War) can itegrate it within their body."
Sakamoto: "For Samus's suit to appear, considerable powers of concentration are necessary. In short, it was too constraining. It's the same as a salary man loosening his necktie when returning from a business trip on the bullet train."
Sorry I'm making this thread but I'm having some weird connection issues preventing me from posting in the other thread.

>dude he curses lol
>dude he spouts memes lol
>dude you gotta go HAM LOL!
That's more like the 4chan character
LoL is a reddit game
Is there any board more obsessed with reddit than /v/?
Let me explain to you why not torrenting your video games is baby's first prisoners dilemma.
You and the video games publisher are pitted within the game of chess that is capitalism. Not as co-operative partners, but bitter rivals in the attainment of money. And the players are thus;
>You.
>Everyone else buying the game you want.
>The publishers.
The three of you can choose one of two options. You can co-operate, or you can take what you can at the expense of the others. Now, individually people have an average IQ of about 100 across the developed world. Collectively, a group of 100 first world humans has an IQ roughly that of a 5 year old. Extend this to millions of individuals across the planet, and you have a conglomerate intellectual processing capacity bordering on average /v/ poster.
Now we enter the publishers. They're smart, they're hungry, and they're out to take you for everything you have. And in return, provide the cheapest product possible at the highest profit.
The collective mass of idiots will always co-operate with the publishers as long as the product satisfies criteria that group needs satisfied. The larger the group, the higher the degree of complicity. The quality/price ratio will slide down.
Now you as the individual, being the outlier, is morally responsible for doing his part in tipping that balance back towards a quality/price ratio that favors the collective. As it's what you're subsumed within.
You're not a sheeple, are you, anon?
Torrent.
>he justifies his piracy
Quite possibly the most neckbeard fedoralord post in a long time on /v/.
>>376302514
How bout just stop preordering and buying shitty games and buying objectively good ones.
>next game in the franchise is a one on one fighter
How would you react, /v/?
Considering there were games about zombies and samurai, I wouldn't be surprised.
>>376302160
Wouldn't even be mad, would be a change of pace for sure
>>376302160
But this already happened
>stickers
>full colored instruction booklet
>Axiom Verge physical release will contain an instruction manual as well
are indie games saving physical purchases?
>>376302092
>>stickers
it's fucking nothing
>>376302156
they serve no real purpose, but it's still nice to have. but the meat and potatoes here is the instruction manual.
>having a measly 20 page manual is now a rarity
Get me off this timeline
I seriously cant be the only one who played this game. Is it too hard for /v/?
>>376302068
It was pretty popular here inRussia. I might imagine that Aurora 4x is hard for /v/, but X3?
>>376302068
Not everyone likes Eve Offline: German space capitalism edition.
That said, nothing beats X3 AP with XRM.
>>376302068
I played the original X3 a bunch really long ago but I don't think I could manage to get into it nowadays.
>open world game

>you can learn about game's lore by simply exploring
>but people shit on it cause "empty fields with nothing to do"
>they also shit on it because they rush through the end and there's nothing to do for them
I fucking hate normies
I bet they would add +100 to all their stats on their first D&D match, or even better they would drop the game before starting

What game? Doesn't sound familiar.
>>376301968
What game? Aside from Just Cause.
>85% of software sales in switch are Nintendo games
Why do nintendo fans keep saying "we are interested third party games "?
>>376301938
>Why do nintendo fans keep saying "we are interested third party games "?
They don't
>>376301938
the problem is nintendo consoles don't get many 3rd party games, so there's really no way for nintendo fans to develop interest in them
So why did movie cash in game die off?
Because modern western games got too expensive to make it worth it.
It didn't, it moved to mobile.
Why sell a $60 game to 100,000 people when you can sell a free game with micro-transactions to 10,000,000 people?

Question for 20 year olds of /v/: do you associate your childhood more closely with things of 2000-2006 like PS2, Gamecube, Cartoon Cartoons, Yu gi oh, Drake and Josh, Gorillaz, Discman, Malcolm in the middle, Cyberchase, Tamagotchi, Osmosis Jones, original Ben 10, and Kim Possible?
Or 2006-2009 things like Wii, PS3, CN Real, Hannah Montana, Bakugan, The Dark knight, Justin Bieber, WallE, Twilight, Chowder, Marvelous misadventures of Flapjack, Adventure Time, and Silly bandz?
>>376301856
I knew /v/ has always been consoletardish, but damn, that list..
I am 25 and associate my super early childhood with Ultima VI and Pool of Radiance on Commodore 64, early school years with Might&Magic, Wizardry, and XCom, and high school with Jagged Alliance 2, Gothic 2, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate, and Thief.
The mere idea that a gap of 5 (five) years would result in this ..
>Cartoon Cartoons, Yu gi oh, Drake and Josh, Gorillaz, Discman, Malcolm in the middle, Cyberchase, Tamagotchi, Osmosis Jones, original Ben 10, and Kim Possible
>Wii, PS3, CN Real, Hannah Montana, Bakugan, The Dark knight, Justin Bieber, WallE, Twilight, Chowder, Marvelous misadventures of Flapjack, Adventure Time, and Silly bandz
.. is truly frightening.
>>376301856
21.
I actually associate with N64/PS1 era, and considered most of those shows you listed, outside of cartoon cartoons, to be too childish for me and I consider Ben 10 and Kim Possible to be part of the same generation as Hannah Montana and Flapjack.
>>376302505
this.
but with a little snes thrown in there too because of my upbringing

HOTS 2.0
Know that we have had some time with it, what do you all think?
The loot system isn't as screw you over as I thought it was going to be, but at the same time this isn't a 2.0 worthy patch. Its a re-branding and hype machine honestly with little to no gameplay changes.
While the price point for heros was an issue and I am glad they have loosened their grip on that, the game still doesn't seem all that fun.
I understand why they went to the trouble of trying to design new maps, but maybe they need a classic DOTA style map like pretty much all other mobas have.
>>376301489
was the loot system ever a problem?
at least it wasn't to me.
the main problem lies within the core of the game.
It have extremely shallow gameplay.
the levels don't even matter mostly.
they are only good for leading the other teams on level 10, when you have ulti and the enemy don't.
you can't have items, so there's lesser customization on heroes.
you get a faggoty skill trees instead, which don't matter at all because you will most likely go the same build every time.
you don't communicate with your team most of the time too, so it's like playing with AI as well.
all heroes are locked behind paywall as well, which make the game pretty limited at time.
>>376301489
played a few games of it
everyone just rushes mid or low lane no strategy evolved
the team with the most damage/healing wins
it's so dumb that LoL is chess if you compare it to this game
This game is boring as fuck.
Its casualisation of already casualised genre.
Without the lane and farm phase, you don't have exciting ganks, you don't need to be cautious, because you cant make mistakes that will punish your progress.
You are just running around and fight for 20 minutes woth everyone doing little to non damage, because no one cant stand out in this system.
Its beyond my mind how anyone can play this shit when Dota 2 and LoL exist.
Take Wario Land out of that and you're golden
wario games are shit
Refunded right then and there.
