Get Better Cities and Unique Landscapes, they're essentials. Get graphic mods, obviously.
Honestly Oblivion doesn't need a lot of mods to make it playable, get an overhaul or something and a mod that improves dungeons and removes the weird level scaling.

Avoid non-creature companion mods, most of them have cringeworthy writing, voice acting and dialogue

Publishers made them release unfinished shit then blamed the franchise for it being received poorly, Deus Ex is now shelved forever. End of story.

The biggest problem with it is that it's just a slightly more refined Human Revolution, the sort of sequel you'd expect to come out 2 years after the original rather than half a decade later

They reset all your equipment like Metroid.
The new augs are useless apart from remote hacking and nano blade if your doing a lethal playthrough.
They tried portraying augs as a race but failed.
They failed to portray augs as the old elite and wealthy dealing with false limb rejections.
They failed to portray Adam as an aging rust bucket whos only aug advantage is he doesn't reject his augs.
They had a secret base that failed to be attacked or expanded on or even have you interrogate someone.

I liked it for the price. In the end a lot of missed opportunities.

I don't think there's anything that will convince me to get a Switch. The only Nintendo consoles I've had were the SNES and DS, nothing else appealed to me at all and it doesn't seem like they ever will.

That game can become pretty broken if you know the mechanics, edgar's crossbow doesn't stay OP. However it can get pretty hard if you don't know about shit like vanish+doom or magic evade.

What's this? I pretty much know absolutely nothing about Final Fantasy and how it works.

Auto crossbow will be OP for a few more areas. Everything else will catch up eventually, and that's probably the hardest part of the game. After you get to a certain point though you're likely to find more OP shit, it's just not a balanced game at all (and no Final Fantasy is)

Your other characters can get magic, but it's tied to a pretty big plot point so don't worry about missing it. Just keep going dude
