Nostalgia.

I forced myself to play through this game when I was younger. Attempted to play it as time went on, and all the collecting and the pace is just complete garbage compared to a good SMB3 or SMW run.

Now, that is not excusing the modern attempts at YI. They very clearly lack in the aesthetics department, or have much of any novelty, nor do they have any intriguing point to play the game since the very first one already thoroughly and satisfyingly covered the only plot point to have.

But don't kid yourself into thinking YI is some perfect game - it is not.

I'm just replaying it, chose to see what the remastered version is like, seems fine although it lags on 4k when I can run Infinite on 4k just fine.

Fighting demons is entirely irrelevant to Christianity because the only way demons could be on Earth is after Rapture, which would mean all Christians would be in Heaven. Hell on Earth wouldn't be their problem.

I've wondered this myself. I feel like some random person who doesn't know anything about video games would see someone playing it and think it's evil and abhorrent with all of the blood and guts. I wonder if the fact that you're killing demons would change that perspective at all.

I can agree with that, FO4 did do some things right-ish. Not to say that these aspects, like the power armor, the settlement building and the gunplay are absolutely perfect but they are decent enough. That said, they just aren't enough to carry the game. The other Fallouts are flawed too but not as fundamentally flawed as FO4 was. And that's the biggest problem with the game.

Crazy Taxi, but the ports sucked.

You'll find lots of games that were released on Dreamcast + 2 of the other consoles, but released on all four are pretty rare. CVS2 was only released on DC in Japan, so I'm sure there's other JP exclusive games that made it across all 4 platforms.
