Yes, but then GTA O made too much money and Take-2 wanted to push that. I don't know the specifics behind what happened, but I imagine Rockstar had a hard time justifying DLC for a story mode when GTA O literally printed money faster than it could hand out it's own imaginary currency in-game.

I play it every other day with friends. It's still pretty fun once in awhile, also really the only moba of its kind as far as I know.

I don't think you played the new Hitman. Yes, it returned to its roots, and had definitely did some good things with that but the game was a fucking disaster up until the "release" and even then it only got somewhat better.

It's also worth noting Warren Spector is heading up System Shock 3 with a bunch of ex-Looking Glass employees so that is also seeing a revival, hopefully.

And Prey, made by Arkane which has a decent amount of Looking Glass staff, was pretty good.

I still remember starting the HOMM3 tutorial and getting gnoll flail after defeating some gnolls as a kid 15 years ago. It was cool and much bigger in my head, made you wonder about the world, lore and so on. Entire castle that's underground and full of laser eyes, how cool is that?
After all the years you eventually see how it was all balanced, how everything on the map is on a grid, how to abuse 1-stacks and a lot of charm dies.
