Microsoft is doing gods work for VR by pushing OEM's to work off of one hassle free standard with differences in headsets being regulated to things like resolution, refresh rates, and quality of life things like the monitor market.
>>376790883
thats what Valve was trying to do with SteamVR, it supports everything PC VR out there at the moment
and now everyone in the game except Microsoft is working together on an open standard called OpenXR though a consortium via the Khronos Group while MS is working on a closed standard ala DirectX for VR
>>376791610
Too bad Valve couldn't produce anything at a reasonable price point that could be easily set up anywhere.
What's unironically the worst game you have ever played?
League of Legends
>>376789676
This was a real piece of shit. Should've been co op strider, instead it was poor controls, fucking baby mode difficulty to the point of hillarity, unskippable super moves for all players on screen, and awful music with I swear no fucking bass channel at all.
Also Yoshi's Story was pretty shit.
This one is ezpz, the culprit was let in voluntarily by Eva and her husband, after the chain was set again, he killed them and then hid inside the room until the chain was cut from the outside.
Anon, I really hope you've finished all 8 episodes before posting here.

Just played my first round since 2014. How is this game so fucking fun? It's the definition of emergent gameplay.
Someone explain to me what Space Station 13 is even about in 15 words or less. I've got a friend who's playing like every day of his life and I have no fucking idea what he's ever talking about.
Apparently this clown fucker is everywhere.
>>376798996
>SS13
>emergent gameplay
Lmao no
Lifeweb is emergent gameplay
What videogame villains had the best motives for what they did?
>Supervise less advanced species so as to lead them to an enlightened path where they won't threaten your species with enslavement (from which your entire species are suffering PTSD from due to their genetic memory), and altruistically defend your protectorates from your genocidal brothers because you value all life

Kefka makes perfect sense and is simple yet interesting enough to keep you engaged, even without the "science made him crazy" thing that like one NPC says in a bar. So he is up there I guess.
Giegue/Giygas from MOTHER is another good one. He is attacking Earth because his race tells him to. He leaves because of the emotional connection to the place is too strong for him. Simple, interesting, memorable.
Sephiroth, on the other hand, is shit and to this day after learning and playing the game in nip I cannot understand what the flying fuck is going on with him. Like, Kefka is 'crazy' and so he believes everything but self-pleasure is pointless and goes out destroying everything because that's what he enjoys. He thinks about what what he does and comes to these conclusions because he's a madman. Sephiroth just does it because he's mad? But is he even aware of what he is doing? Kefla clearly is but I honestly can't tell if Seph is supposed to be or not.
>Durr wut is pain, I don't ike this new feeling , I want everyone to feel this foreverYeah I know it's existential pain because he was about to die. The snes translation just makes out like he's retarded
Thoughts on Plug and Play vidya?
they're bad and cheap. The end.
You thought you wanted them as a kid until you actually got to play them.
I had the namco ones.
Good shit
You are hanging with your Mario 64 and this guy comes and says "An A press is an A press. You can't say it's only a half."
What do you do?

Prove him the fuck wrong, I guess.
align my qpus
So I am planning to play the trilogy.
>What should I expect?

>>376788281
Play in release order.
>>376788281
Start with SoC, use ZRP, Absolute Nature and Absolute Structures if you care about graphics and no other mods for your first playthrough.
CS can be skipped
CoP is fine unmodded, you might want AtmosFear for pretty shaders, just don't enable the gameplay changing options.
Play on Master difficulty, disable crosshairs, have fun.
>>376788410
So SoC, CS, then CoP?

Is it possible to become a Great One in real life? From Bloodborne should we take away a message that greatness is something to be strived for and obtained only through courage and great effort? How should we go about becoming Great Ones?
>>376788171
well first, go collect some discarded umbilical cords and eat them. report back for further instructions
>>376788665
There's absolutely no evidence that we eat the umbilical cords except for them being classified as consumables, like motovs, knives, quicksilver bullets, etc. In fact, there is an animation to consume beast pellets and so on, but that's not the animation we use for using umbilical cords.
