I could go on, but there's no point. This was the golden era of videogames where budgets weren't too insane and tools were efficient so devs could crank out top quality games fast and free of cancer like DLC, mobile companion apps, and preorder bonuses. The entire industry has been on a noticeable downward trajectory starting last gen and becoming more and more obvious as this gen goes on.
PS4 has sold a gorillion units and I can count the good exclusives on 2 fingers. Xbone has no good exclusives. Switch is a cool concept but ultimately underpowered and has a shit screen. PC gaming has become home of cancerous Twitch bait and the top games are shit like LoL and h1z1. Even Civ VI was bad.
I just don't get it.

I actually think the production value of the series is really high, but the lack of varity of enemies, and un satisfying gameplay keeps it from being better, or at least a great alternative to monhun.
