new raws that I posted when the thread was on page 7 or 8
5th episode of the colored and translated motion comic
I suck at spoilers
6th colored and translated motion comic
Why is the japanese version of the motion comic not colored? just curious
Also, the motion comic adaptation of the "les-date" chapter can't come soon enough (If they're actually gonna adapt a bonus chapter that is)
I'd actually be fine with filler in an anime version. Each arc doesn't seem like it'd be more than one episode, excluding Domestic Killer and Virginal Rose since they're huge deals. Filler, so long as Yoshimura was advising. It'd give people like Rinko or Miyuki more time.
Thanks, it worked!
really should have put the author's twitter in the OP
Yoshimura and Itou Hachi should do a collab sometime.
What do you think a good genre for a Murcielago game would be? I could easily see a Hitman-esque preparation-based game.
One focusing on Kuroko's past could also be a fast-paced Hotline Miami style shooter.
The perfect Murcielago video game would be an action hack and slash developed by Suda51, who does the dark and explicit story/setting very well.
In fact, he already made what is essentially a Murcielago game: Killer Is Dead. A super-bloody action game where you play as an assassin with a dubious backstory and a quirky high-school girl assistant whose job is to execute problem supercriminals for the government. The only problem is that he's a man and not a big breasted lesbian.
3rd person open sandbox with visual novel portions for conversing with related parties and 1st or 3rd person assassination missions.
If you're vg savvy:
>Ace Attorney or LA Noir interrogations and intelligence gathering missions for both Kuroko and Hinako
>Hinako gameplay also includes Grand Theft Auto style gameplay as well as stealth missions since she has to trespass into restricted areas to gather clues.
>followed by Dishonored missions featuring Kuroko, 1st or 3rd person
>and of course, 1st person or dating sim-esque babe hunting booty calls where you, as Kuroko, has to keep each girl happy by remembering their likes and dislikes and going on dates regularly
>unlockable Rinko and Chiyo. Both are for hack-and-slash
Oh La Noir detective work? Ah I'm dumb, I read it as Noir's interrogations. Silly me.
You're spot on then about intelligence gathering, only other game where detective works sticks out in Indigo Prophecy but that's because I don't play a lot of mystery games.
I liked Kuroko's plan int he raincoat man storyline. I'm glad they're showing that she's both smart and deadly. I thought it was absurd that she could have ever killed that many people without plans. Hope there's more TACTICAL GENIUS on her part in upcoming chapters.
Can somebody explain me this page?
I don't get it.
yeah but they made her pupils vertical, they're horizontal
last colored motion comic
>draws edgy content
she at least ampshaded that part, saying that she's not a killer, so even her work isn't entirely truthful
though if you ask me that sounds like she's trying to bounce the blame
A lesbian or free to dream?
I'd say the lesbian part is pretty clear, considering said rant has a kinda mournful feel, ends with what amounts to "Even those who 'are not' are, a little bit", did those two /ll/ posts indicating she takes sexual interest in yuri concepts (if that wasn't obvious from how much detail she puts into the sex scenes, almost as much as the gore scenes), and how a long while back she went on another rant about how everybody's really a lesbian on the inside.
As for free to dream, that's a bit harder to define.
You mean not all yuri mangaka hang out together at strip clubs?
What yuri artists are confirmed lesbians tho? Nakamura Ching (who has some serious self-loathing), Takemiya Jin, Morishima Akiko said she's bisexual. I dunno anymore confirmed gay yuri artists.
I'm trying to work on this, but my cold's only gotten worse.
I have work off on Thursday and Friday (and the weekend, obviously); I'm hoping I'll feel better by then, and I'll try to slam these down.
page from a YG special issue that came out yesterday
>Kuroko actually fucking the mother from the previous story arc
Alpha as fuck
Another great chapter, why is this manga so good? Thank you Typesetter-san and CxC staff >>1950449
This whole page, really. Also loved what they did with this chapter's title at the last moment.
I wonder if Kuroko has ever had sex with Hinako.
She puts moves on every (legal) girl she finds (and is willing to wait for the illegal ones to become legal) except for Hinako, but in the Les Date chapter when she was horny she mentioned how Hinako wasn't around.
Just as long as Chiyo keeps her spot as #1.
She looks like somebody took Eyebrows' face and boobs and slapped them onto Ginti from Death Parade.
Which, surprisingly, looks kinda hot. Must be that vest, girls in vests are great.
And then everything turned out okay and nobody was murdered or raped
Not the other anon but hopefully never.
I'm sick of people going xDD I FUUUCKING LOOOOOVE OPM omfg YOUU DONT EVEN KNOOOWWWWW in every multiplayer I go on.
It's like dumber people enjoy anime more than manga even though it's less fine-touched, the animation sucks, and it's all rushed and boring.
>I think Fuuri was planning on appearing at the last second to save Minako. She just didn't expect to see Kuroko there.
Yeah, that was pretty clear. I don't get why Kuroko was killing the bullies, though. Especially since she's there on official police business (apparently.)
She's pretty indiscriminate and what we saw doing death party/the mansion she's only really hesitant when they can't be talked down until a certain point. After that she'll have no qualms revealing that beauty doesn't affect her.
In Hinako's case, I think it has more to do with playing up the valiant but brutal Prince imagery to Hinako to help win the lost lamb over to her cause as a protege.
Oh yeah I can see that regarding Fuuri. I wouldn't be surprised if she originally planned on helping Hinako bomb the bullies until a better proposition caused her to turn Hinako over. Girl seems to be a snake, a not so cunning snake.
Well, from what I've seen of the raws...
Fuuri does survive. In the end Minako rapes her and last we see of her she's being led by Minako by a leash looking pretty much broken
Yes, but she publicly announced that she was with the police to everyone at the assembly, showing off her badge and all. So once the bodies get found it'll lead back to her one way or another.
I think it's pretty heavily implied that the bullies previously raped and beat Minako, especially considering how much she enjoyed watching them go down. It also seems like Koumori knows this.
If you want to deal with the kinds of fans that anime adaptations of violent shows bring, more power to you.
Where the fuck would you deal with such anime fans in the first place? Why in all hells would you look up such a place? You yourself are to blame if you have any such problem. The fuck is wrong with you?
Settle down, friend.
You have to deal with all sorts of people on the internet. I'd rather not, for example, join a game lobby and see a picture of Kuroko being used by xXBloodLordXx. Or be watching something on youtube and see a thumbnail of her in suggested videos with a title like "My top 5 darkest animes"; or swing by MyAnimeList to check who voice acted a familiar sounding character in a show (which is really the quickest and easiest way to check) and see something like "Gasai Yuno vs Koumori Kuroko" in the recent forum posts section of the front page. It's depressing and it ruins the series for me just a tiny little bit, but those little bits add up.
I bring up Yuno because that's exactly what happened with her. I've had this discussion before in these threads, but I'm a fan of yandere characters, not because omgbloodxD but because characters who are blindly and wholly devoted to their love are a favorite of mine. "I'll die or kill anyone for you" is great. I enjoyed Yuno, but then Mirai Nikki got steadily more popular, culminating in its anime, and suddenly anytime I saw a reference to it, or especially pictures of Yuno, they were being done/used by annoying kids going on and on about how much they love serial killers and would xDkilleveryone. It ruins a character. Associations get made and eventually fandoms become cringe enough that you want nothing to do with them, because bringing a series up intices those kind of people to join the discussion.
It's not like /u/ is 100% clean of idiots either.
It's just something I'd rather not deal with, not for the sake of seeing the same story but animated, especially something like Murcielago, which in general, isn't an art style or manga type that benefits from being animated. The action scenes are too quick and the art too detailed, short of securing an insanely high budget, animation would very likely be a step down in quality.
>Fuuri does survive. In the end Minako rapes her and last we see of her she's being led by Minako by a leash looking pretty much broken
holy shit my boner, please tell me that's what happened.
>autism and offended buzzwords
If you say so, nee-san.
I was just explaining why I get annoyed by annoying people taking a great deal of interest in things I enjoy. It seems to me, you actually feel the exact same way I do:
>Where the fuck would you deal with such anime fans in the first place? Why in all hells would you look up such a place?
I.e. there are fans who are very annoying and you would rather not deal with them.
My whole point is that animating a series of this type just creates a massive influx of exactly that type of annoying fan. In my opinion it isn't worth it for 12 episodes of questionable quality for a series that is better suited to the manga format than an animated one.
>I.e. there are fans who are very annoying and you would rather not deal with them.
Of course there are. But neither do I seek them out, nor do I care, more importantly make any deal out of what they think, if I happen upon their opinions. They're there for anything ever.
So, what, I should hope there won't be a possibly good thing, just because there are stupid people on the internet? That in itself is dumb.
And if it turns out bad, who cares? The original I enjoyed is still there. And even there are people being stupid about it. Doesn't hamper my enjoyment of it.
I'm genuinely feeling sorry for you, if you can't enjoy good things (or be anticipating potentially good things), just because of this.
I know this type of edgy kids because I was a fan of Higurashi no naku koro ni once. Damn, it was sad to see all those people who only saw the anime as the "killer lolis xD" anime. And that trashed Kai because there wasn't enough gore, even though there wasn't much gore in first season either and that is not the message the story is trying to convey.
I understand where you are coming from, but I'm not 100% opposed to an anime version of Murciélago.
kuroko mentally announces her desire to have sex with a kid when she's only a couple years older after outright lying to her face while pretending to be supportive
what are you expecting of murcielago
Nah, killing the girl like that did seem a bit hasty even for Kuroko, I get the feeling that the author was probably projecting a bit here. Unless there is more to this whole thing, which is certainly possible.
Why? Kuroko does kill if she doesn't like someone. She is a psycho and for her, these were worthless cowardly wannabe thugs. See the flashback to that one girl who was already dead? That's the girlfriend-thug of that gang Sniper-chan wiped out. Another low-grade disgusting criminal.
What Kuroko loves are cute girls who are either innocent or high grade criminals she could use - like the bomb maker.
These bullies? Low grade cowards and thugs. Kuroko does not stick her tongue into shit. And they were trash, ready to kill her precious bomb maker, she wants. There is nothing strange in wanting to kill them. She is a national executioner after all. And she just took out the trash
That was her younger days tho. She's a lot more intelligent with her spontaneous murders while under government employment.
Killing that girl wasn't just unusual in the cruel sense, but also seemed a bit dumb given the circumstances.
She just wanted to kill the girl to create an opportunity to draw out the other girl and make the other 2 kill each other, now she can be relieved of the blame and they will be the culprits that she will now add to her harem.
>OVA is better than full series for this type of story. Normal anime series would be censored to hell and back.
It would be PERFECT as a Netflix exclusive; no worries about censorship and crap
Do Japan have things like Netflix there?
There's AT-X, but even AT-X can't show everything. Though it is possible to air it on AT-X as a special series like Mnemosyne.
Straight to the disc would be the best case scenario, high-quality with no censorship. That isn't the best financial decision though.
>when kuroko reminds everyone she isn't a good person
>Do Japan have things like Netflix there?
Yes, Netflix Japan does exist and they even have an original series
There's also this
Googled it, and yes, it's a thing.
>Sentō is a type of Japanese communal bath house where customers pay for entrance.
I wonder how many girls she offered to "wash their backs" before.
Good luck with that. You guys are spoiling us too much getting so many chapters out in so little time, not that I'm complaining.
I guess kind of.
I don't expect it to be the exact same as real anime but it would be opening up more creativity, rather than just stuff like looney tunes we might have more serious types of cartoons with underlying plots rather than just things aimed at children, even if we have been getting better with it. Even China has started producing anime, though not very good. I just think it's a good opportunity for a new form or art/entertainment to be more accepted.
>A) the chip
Pic related. When the chip was explained, it was pointed out that Kuroko doesn't care about it in the slightest, and has no concern for her own life.
I'd say Rinko is closer to successor. Hinako is too Hinako to ever be what Kuroko is, Rinko is young enough and empty enough to be molded into whatever Kuroko wants. Kuroko is even feeding her urges to kill people by letting her help out with work.
It's the opposite though, it was shown to point out that even with the chip, Kuroko doesn't particularly care about the potential for Hinako to die. She left her with a known murderer to go and play with a serial killer.
I don't think Kuroko would kill her at this point, but it's a bit much to say she would never do anything, she just doesn't have any reason to and is saving her as a delicious treat to kill at a better time later.
I wish Kuroko was my dad-like mom and/or older brother-like sister
Calling it now: Miyuki is the Hinako to the mystery villain's Kuroko.
They just share the love for Kuroko since she's that much of a chick magnet.
The one on the right, yes. The one on the let is another character and the seeming main villain of murcielkago, begin tied to every arc except classroom destruction so far.
Kiyuki is definitely related to her in some way, either romantically, familially, or by faction. Her color them seems to be white and the people in her faction are keen on fanciness to contrast Kuroko's normally slacker-like lifestyle. Despite being basic polar opposites, style-wise (Her symbol-brooch and Miyuki's eyes are even horizontal slits, to contrast with Kuroko's horizontal ones) she seems to have been in a very close relationship with Kuroko in the past and is apparently doing everything for her.
I have a feeling she was the one who raised Hinako after Kuroko killed her family, and programmed her extremely violent mode she goes into when hurt as a means of preventing Kuroko from dying via the chip.
She also seems to be a brilliant scientist, having invented Cesare and its more refined version that Yukari and that new character with Reiko have, as well as owning an entire "prison hospital."
Totally just an innocent, harmless fraud.
And the maid she recovered just HAPPENED to be with the cultist girl, who we KNOW is looking for the people that gave the cult the creepmedicine.
TOTALLY a coincidence.
I think that Hinako didn't actually react to Rinko's attack. It activated after she'd already been hit and the pain started to set in.
If Rinko had been aiming for her neck instead of her hand, Hinako would be dead. A berserk mode that only activates after you've been hit is pretty shitty.
Yukari didn't show up among the cultists.
Cultists were just a pawn of mystery lady, a means of producing further cesare. Odds are similar establishments are rampant... Going by how how she refers to Yukari as "my yukari," she's probably in a very rape-y place right now.
>If Rinko had been aiming for her neck instead of her hand, Hinako would be dead
Hinako is the deuteragonist, no way she's going anywhere, especially when we have yet to see the upper limits of how fucked up she is whereas Renko's degree of insanity was made very clear very fast.
No matter what method she activated, she was shown to be pretty unstoppable when she entered that state, and given how she said "now we're even" she was also defintiely holding back so as not to instantly kill Renko.
It might be driven by her own anger, or possibly as >>1953787 theorized, conditioning.
Kuroko's pretty smart, I'm 99% sure she knows about it, especially given how she no doubt at least played some part in its creation. If she ever does intend to kill Hinako, I feel that she'd activate the mode first. She called killing Hinako in her normal moe state merit-less.
I don't disagree with any of your points. I was just saying that given the time it took that mode to activate, it's hardly a defense against attack. Anyone that wanted to kill Hinako could probably do so pretty easily by making the first hit count.
I assume it's a conditioned response, or something inherited from her parents, much like Rinko's inescapable desire to murder people. But it's pretty poor conditioning if it has such a delay.
I'm sure Kuroko knows about it, but the way it was shown at the amusment park, Hinako absolutely could have been killed (if not for the plot armor), so Kuroko was still sending her into a situation where she could easily have died, as policebro pointed out (he also seemed to know about and understand her berserk state as well)
Yea, you're right. Sorry for getting all defensive.
And yes, it's also very possible she inherited it from her parents, considering she called them horrible people.
I find it interesting that when she goes into murder mode she entirely lacks the sadism the other killers in the manga do, which is probably part of why it's so scary. She's entirely objective-focused, part of why she's so uninvolved with the action parts of plots now is because that rage mode could have ended most of them in instants.
Man, I can't wait to see what Miyuki's fighting style is like. Motherfucker is creepy enough she out-creeps Kuroko.
It's been a while since I've read first arc, but wasn't that the assumed purpose of the drug? To perfect a form that could then be used to make people insanely skilled killers, or make someone like Kuroko godlike?
Basically. It's also been implied that the version of Cesare that the wrestler injected was cheap, street-quality stuff, for stirring chaos. Yukari the maid, and the guy with Reiko have the more powerful doses that make them immune to pain and more sophisticated in their newfound violence obsession.
So, we all know Yukari is gonna come back, but when she does, what do you think is the most likely option for her return to fighting:
A) Realistic prosthetic limbs
B) Robot limbs
C) Fresh organic limbs due to the hospital director's shady new drug
or D) Wheelchair with guns and other weapons attached
Not that anon, but I'm absolutely certain it's Terumi. He only had his left hand replaced, but coincidentally lacks his right arm. Additionally, his memory of Narumi (albeit with longer hair) which caused him to hesitate in killing off Mika & Toshi in "The Spider" chapter is pretty telling as well.
>preventing Kuroko from dying
>Hinako is at Kuroko's level
Different anon but that's a good point. She might even be involved with that squishy police-chan who has access to Kuroko's heartbeat and a front row seat everytime Kuroko has sex.
The quote on the left makes me think the villain has the "I love you because I can't understand you" thing going on.
>people are getting killed left and right
>the police is unable to come up with a motive
>Kuroko turns herself in because she's bored
>genius police scientist watches Kuroko's interrogation
>Kuroko's answers are incomprehensible
>police scientist climaxes when she discovers an unknown specimen
>wants more data on Kuroko
>motions that Kuroko becomes a national executioner
>Kuroko's first assignment is to kill Hinako's parents
>Kuroko plays along, curious
>scientist wets herself again when she finds out Kuroko's lack of reaction
>scientist uses herself in the ultimate experiment and gives her body to Kuroko as a "reward"
>Kuroko discovers the female body
>scientist discovers the joys of being a woman
>Kuroko decides to be popular with girls
>scientist decides to enable and study Kuroko and experimentally determine how Kuroko came to be
So if you recall Terumi's surname and their similar hair colors, these two are probably siblings
It was more like he got jammed into a hole in the ground, as seen in:
and the next couple of pages. There's only blood on the underside of the block where his arm would be
Also since there's only so much of that block that can go down that hole given that it was coming from the ceiling, I assumed he was dropped into roughly the same area as all those dead bodies at the end of that dust shoot where Hinako stumbled into. Then Reiko found him since she was the last one in the mansion, at least that's how I imagine his survival being explained.
I don't doubt it. I also think she might be tied to the police chairman guy who's been getting the villain spotlight recently, considering their similar facial structure and tendency towards a very particular type of smile, they might be related, possibly father and daughter.
Reading the other one shot by the author, I'm now of the theory that the "sensei" is actually an arms dealer and is developing the drug in an attempt to replicate the seemingly precognition-like ability Kuroko has towards danger.
Imagine an army, or even just an elit special force capable of literally cheating death. She'd make billions in an instant.
That outfit made me think of Robin
Could Reiko be taking some form of cesare? Her abilities seem very advanced and I remember that scar on her back that looked like it would be lethal or severely incapacitate someone. Her eyes seem a bit odd too. She's probably the one who gave the drug to Terumi.
>Thinking it's cash when they funded a cult to kill girls to make roses for the drug, own a prison hospital and are yandere for the nurse lady, and one of their subordinates is Miyuki
Cross might be waiting until I finish up the volume. I'm two chapters in, wrapping up the third, but I've been busy since my work wants me to work overtime, and I get paid extra for said overtime, so it's tempting. Last week in particular was super hectic, and the weekend was pretty much robbed from me between a conference with an indie dev team I'm trying to join (as a writer) on Friday and a party with friends Saturday night, which resulted in me staying up until 4 and not waking up until noon on Sunday, and since I've been so lax on the gym since I recovered from a cold between Christmas and New Years, I forced myself to go to the gym Saturday, Sunday and yesterday.
But uh, point being, I'm (moderately) more free tonight. I'm hoping to at least slam down one more chapter tonight; after that is the volume bonus, which is generally half as long as a normal chapter (if that), so if I could somehow get that done tonight as well, that'd be pretty great. But I'm sure my work will also want me to work overtime again tonight, so I don't want to make promises I'm not sure I'll keep. Either way, I'll keep you all posted and try to get it all done ASAP.
And they're done.
Cross was sick yesterday. Expect a release of all four chapters tomorrow.
>joke around a few arcs ago that Kuro is going to try to make a lesbian serial killer harem
>she is now actively recruiting girls
and teaching them to kill
>she also fucked the milf from the last arc
this is the greatest manga of our time
She was the leader of the three and pretended to like Minako so she could bully her easier. Initially from the video cams she would be the mastermind behind her project but it turns out Minako was the yand all along.
>bully-chan plots to embarrass and kill shy glasses girl after having raped her previously
>glasses girl is actually yand as fuck and rapes the bully, deciding not to kill her, and brings her along instead
>bully-chan now appears to be submissive to glasses yand
my fetish, distilled
Now for the not-so fun part: setting your expectations properly.
We don't clean/translate until we get new volumes, which release every 3-4 months. The latest one came in late November, which means the new volume won't be out until around March/April, and then you have to factor in the time to clean, translate, and typeset.
So for the next few months, you'll have to do with these chapters. Hope they were worth the weight.
Well, with any luck the magazine raws will come in and we'll finally get to see what's going on in the latest arc, and that should hold us over until then.
But all things considered, thanks for your hard work.
>Yoshimura Kana literally sits down, at her desk, , plans and draws these bonus chapters of Manjuu Hinako
It was a good chapter, but unfortunately ends on a pretty huge cliffhanger, bringing the murdering professor from the party back into the picture. But the yuri was worth it.
Just need Kuro to fuck the sniper and the angry do-gooder cop girl and it'll all be perfect.
Kuroko is what happens when too many manjuu combine.
Well if you take the dialogue into consideration, it would've just ended with the bullies if Marie hadn't found the bombs. So it probably would've ended with Minako blowing Fuuri and herself up if it wasn't for Marie snapping at that time.
Outside of Minako being added to Kuroko's little squad, it seemed more like a set up arc that can come off as a filler arc.
Won't the police get mad that Kuroko
killed the crazy teacher instead of just arresting her?Surely that mysterious woman is making it possible for Kuroko to do all these stuff without getting in trouble.
>Surely that mysterious woman is making it possible for Kuroko to do all these stuff without getting in trouble.
i can see it
especially with that "prison hospital" she's in control of
i doubt the police are exactly happy to be working for her, though
She told the head they arrested her too, which seems odd as she'd be able to find out if Marie died if she asks
Square Enix had all (or most) of the YG artists draw stuff for their new ios game
Even though I hate bullies and I'd have killed them myself, it was probably unethical to kill them. Not like Kuroko is ethical though. But it seems they weren't even murderers. They were going to kill Minako, but they didn't, I wonder if the police will scold Kuroko because of that.
oh my god i love how bad of an influence kuroko is on so many girls
Yeah, police higher ups don't give a fuck. They knew what they got into when they let her out to play.
And if they do, Kuroko will enjoy the eventual backlash.
That perma-stubble cop said it himself: Kuroko does not give two shits what happens to her. Everything is fun. Even execution.
