Man and I had even thought about Mei being physically abusive before that. I mean, she's already a b*tch and now she hit Yuzu too? Also why the heck does yuzu like Mei so much? I can't see what she finds good in her to be honest.
There sould be some character development for Mei, but she hasn't changed at all from the beggining.
Also why the fck would she hit her girfriend just because she tried to kiss her? Wasn't she the one who proposed to Yuzu to start dating? Isn't it normal to kiss the person you are dating? And if she doesn't, at least she shouldn't have hit her. She could just push her...
I would ship Yuzu with Harumi if I knew this wasn't about Mei from the beggining.
While I am not saying that "playfully hitting someone" is bad and the author intended assault or that even looks like assault but jesus christ Mei. Hitting her from behind with an umbrella, making her flat into the actual trash, like what the fuck Mei.
I guess everybody has a kink, I hope Yuzu knows what she is getting into
Honestly though, I wonder how Citrus will evolve. Are we going to get introduced to new characters all the time (who happen to always like Mei, and sometimes Yuzu) and Mei being always cold-pushing Yuzu aside?
This will be a joke if they don't do anything until it's over, since their relationship/romantic development is moving as fast as a snail walking backwards
All I want from this manga is for Yuzu to finally get fed up with being cockblocked and snap, push Mei to wall and fuck the living shit out of her. The experience makes Mei realize that she actually has a thing for super rough sex and a dominant big sister is all she has ever wanted. She lets all those repressed feelings surface and spends the rest of her life as Yuzu's happy sex slave.
Is that too much to ask?
Harumi's sister tells Yuzu to become the next student council president and then there won't be a problem with her or the first year. Mei smacks Yuzu in the ass with an umbrella and says she won't pull any punches just because they're dating.
Congratulations, this argument may just be the stupidest thing I've read on the internet all day.
On that note, someone now needs to make a 2cool4skool Alpha lesbian protagonist who keeps an umbrella in a sheathe.
So is Yuzu always copping a feel of Harumin or what?
Yuzu & Mei Win Best Pair Couple.
Looks like Mei & Yuzu are shock that they are winning couple http://yurireviews.blogspot.de/2015/11/whos-best-yuri-pairing-yuri-tournament_22.html
Well. what can you expect when they have posters like this one:
>Yes!!! I spent all day giving F5 to see who won.
>I'm happy for Citrus. Mei and Yuzu are a couple, very uneven.
>They are opposite each other. and truth as newly couple are starting, but still think they make a good couple
>Although needed to see where they arrived.
Is anyone that delusional? I mean don't get me wrong, I love Citrus as much as the next trash-loving person, but if you look at a random tenth of dynasty scans you'll find at least 5 couples that are more deserving of the title.
Maybe that person loves soap-opera tier melodrama. That's exactly what Citrus is. It even sells the same brand of sick love that those ones sell. I'm saying this as someone who actually like Citrus despite all its flaws.
Great News Everyone. Citrus Manga receives anime adaptation. They going make Anime in 2016 not sure when the Date yet.
Harumin's sister is a bitch,
This person make all kinds of toys manga even Citrus. Check out its tumblr awesome http://fernfern.tumblr.com/
Remember when long necks were sexy? What happened? Why do people don't like them anymore?
Writing is not a democracy. You don't get to decide what is "necessary" or not for a story. The author is the one who decides that, the reader doesn't have any say in it.
If you don't like something you can just walk away. An author? They have to live with the story, so they usually stick to what they think is the best, as they should.
I always had the suspicion, but I didn't want to believe it.
You can have an opinion. But calling you opinion as "right for the story"? That's not your call.
Your call ends at "I like" or "I don't like" this or that development. Beyond that you opinion is a worthless piece of shit that only concerns you and whatever people that feel the same about it.
Are you serious.
Two step sisters, secretly dating and also running against each other in the all important student council president election, with their supportive friends and rivals watching!?
This is yuri in its purest essence.
This is exactly why people engage in these neat little things we call "discussions". So that they can share their opinion on the story.
If you don't like it you can just close the tab.
You can have shitty opinions, everyone has that right. Believing that your subjective bullshit opinion about why something should or shouldn't be in a story is when you're wrong. The only subjective opinion that matters on that respect is the authors's one.
Nah. I just find it funny when people get all defensive about their subjective bullshit. Citrus is as bad as is it because Saburouta, in her right as an author, decided to cater to the lowest common denominator in Japan, sometimes that catering clicks with people on the West, sometimes is doesn't. That's it.
I don't believe Citrus is good or anything, but Saburouta can do with her story what she pleases, that's her right.
Somebody's gotta do it anon. It doesn't magically hatch out of an egg
Can anyone post that screencap of that hilarious post about that person who never thought about where subs came from
Vol 2's due out in Jan, I think? Maybe it's another one. I can't remember off the top of my head.
But yeah, it's been selling well. At least, Ichijinsha seems to be happy with the sales...
MaoYuu was like that, too, except it was the equivalent of a 4chan lit thread. Started off as a 2ch thread and then got published as a LN series and then a manga and eventually even became an anime.
It arrived today! Two copies, for some reason. Guess Amazon.co.jp is trying to make amends for the shipping screw-up, I won't complain. Gonna fully debind and post the raw scans here tomorrow evening.
I should be getting Marmaid[sic] Lovers and vols 1-3 of Akuma no Riddle tmw.
Mermaid Lovers is done by Saq Takano a.k.a. Waterfall. Hopefully it'll be good.
Anyway, thread is getting Off Topic. Sorry
Sorry, a bit later than promised, but here's the raws for chapter 18. Mostly cleaned and leveled (because batch commands), but not really trimmed or adjusted in any other way yet.
I understand that what I said is an overstatement, but those anime are form the early 2000's and there are very few and far between good /u/ anime adaptations these days.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I lost hope in anime industry.
Was rereading Citrus only to realize that Mei is not the only one to forcely hit Yuzu on the ass. Maybe that's her fetish.
Can't wait for all the foreshadowing to pay off
>Harumin still thinks Yuzu is single
>Harumin thinks she still has time
Yeah she acts like Yuzu's friend, but she just pretending. Actually I think Harumin in love with Yuzu.
And in the final chapter (if story ever end) Harumin gonna be the final boss. We'll see epic fight for Yuzu's heart: Harumin vs Mei - FIGHT
>pretty and mysterious
>in obvious emotional pain
>immediately approaches and befriends Yuzu
>offers Yuzu her body for experimentation and sexual relief
>invites Yuzu to go shopping
>physically comforts Yuzu
>lets Yuzu stay over no questions asked
>sees Yuzu with yuri manga
>immediately attempts to try out how two girls have sex with Yuzu
>gets amusements park tickets for Yuzu...for a group date
>feeds Yuzu...and vice prez
>admits to glasses council member that she's happier now
>wants to spend Christmas with Yuzu
>refuses to leave Matsuri alone with Yuzu
>doesn't fool Matsuri about not liking Yuzu
>asks Yuzu about kissing her little sister Mei
What happens in the Harumin arc? Place your bets.
That's a stupid thing to say.
The Internet is a refuge for contrarians and weirdos, who love to argue. The more information given, the more likely the collective will shit itself and disagree on things.
Which is why so often side characters become fan favorites, there is less to go on and therefore less to disagree on.
Right now there is nothing more to Harumin other than being a good friend, while Mei has all kinds of ups and downs.
No, no and no. I would rather have an AU where Syaoran is a girl. CLAMP stated that Sakura will always love Syaoran no matter in what shape she gets to met him, so a "world" where he is a she is totally plausible. With the added bonus that it will not end up in tragedy (for us) as a yandere Tomoyo would surely do.
Any download link for translated CH18?
I don't Harumin was jealous she scare of her sister and she don't want Yuzu get hurt by her sister.
Feelings are better managed when the brain rationalizes and keeps expectations down.
Up until that point, Yuzu has always confided in Harumin. Maybe not every little detail, but at least Harumin knows what's going on and feels valued as the best bro even if she did have romantic feelings for Yuzu.
Now suddenly Yuzu's super serious about someone to the point of willing to fight school rules just to keep heir hair dye and Harumin had no clue? That's gotta hurt and probably brought up all the repressed frustration and gay angst out of Harumin.
>brought up all the repressed frustration and gay angst out of Harumin.
Again, that face is more like for real, than surprise or frustration.
This arc will definitely has Harumin back-story and I think something like this situation with Yuzu happened before, but at that time her friend was broken by her sister.
The half-hearted part might actually refer to herself and seeing Yuzu's resolve made her think about her own half-hearted attempts to oppose her sister. She'll only make it worse with her worries so she steps down.
Yeah, all I could gather from the moon earlier was that Yuzu said she liked someone aka had a special person, and Harumin freaking blew a fuse.
If this doesn't turn out to be the Harumin arc, I'll be surprised. I think her sister is serving as a huge catalyst.
I don't know how it'd adapt, but it certainly has the popularity to get an anime. Whether or not it'd go beyond season 1, that's the question.
I guess there's slice of life anime and all, but Yuri-wise it never seems to do well unless it's Yuru Yuri which was not my cup of tea. I wish more yuri anime was successful.
Finding an investor willing to take that risk is the problem, though. Romance anime (as in romance is the point of the story) doesn't sell. Hell, it's been years since a romance anime sell numbers that weren't horrible.
well there is aoi hana and another one i forgot the name now, that are yuri animes and well they aren't much different than this manhwa, but I dont know how the korean animation industry that much and I bet its different from japan
>people actually hope for Harumin to become a serious love interest for Yuzu
It'd be Shizuma vs. Tamao all over again, abandon hope all ye who enter this ship.
well,I used to ship big time Shizuma/Nagisa and found Tomato chan creepy and boring, but now I'm all for a Yuzu/Harumin ending
even though I know it'll never happen ;_;Mei is just a shitty person overall, she should be taking meds and going to the shrink instead of dating Yuzu.
Drama or not, Harumin deserves to enjoy least one date with Yuzu.
>eyebrows loli gets in the way
>Yuzu's loli gets in the way
>olderthanshelooks loli gets in the way
>Yuzu's newest loli gets in the way
>become student council president or you and your lackey get expelled for dyed hair
>where is this even going
>Mei lacks the social skills and initiative to participate in any Kase-san relationship development and therefore needs an outside source of drama to get closer to Yuzu
>Love triangle with Harumin
>This endless source of drama goes on forever
>Citrus still sells because of the art
>This endless source of drama goes on forever
I disagree with you here. While, sure, Yuzu x Mei relationship hasn't progressesed much, the characters themselves have steadily been growing since their first appearance.

No, I haven't yet. Why so mad, though? Jeez
I was just wondering what direction the author will take. Will they ever graduate? Does it end when they graduate? Do they get married? Move out together? How does a high school romance series last?
>College Citrus with Yuzu and Mei as roommates
Yes, yes please.
I would say so. Her only way to advance the plot now seem to be "insert new love rival." We got two in a row and this arc seems to be shaping to do exactly the same and setting up another one (Haumin's one).
It's not like she ran out of ideas. She barely tried any. Seems to me that Saburouta just doesn't know how to progress forward.
You shouldn't take the Harumi shippers in this thread nearly as serious as you are
The are a few since the beginning but I was referring specifically to Harumin's reaction when Matsuri teases her about Yuzu, then in this chapter we had that overreaction from her just after Yuzu said all that about doing something for the one you love. It's still nothing to write home about, but is there for a reason.
Matsuri pissed her off when she said Harumi looked like an old woman. She categorically said she wasn't interested in Yuzu. The other example you gave isn't anything that significant.
Like I said, nothing to write home about, but those things are there for a reason. It could be misdirection or a set up. I don't think Saburouta knows how to use a red herring, so I guessing that she's setting up an arc.
>She categorically said she wasn't interested in Yuzu.
I think this is often used to show that she was probably lying about that, and that she's just afraid of getting close. I don't remember if she knows everything about Yuzu and Mei, but if she did she'd probably think she couldn't compete with Mei.
Yeah, that combined with the most recent chapter pretty much confirms that Harumin is going to be next boss. Which just sucks, because she's been super reliable to Yuzu up until this point. Sure, sister issues blah blah blah but she clearly feels a little bit at least for Yuzu to get that pissy when she said she wanted her hair that color for "the person she loves".
This picture in Citrus Vol 4. So Hot!
Happy New Year Citrus!!
Citrus will update Soon in 2016.
