What do you think was in the final suitcase? I'm hoping that it would be lingerie too hot for them to show on TV, and hence would be an added scene on the dvd (yeah not likely...). I can understandTowa[/spoiler] not being in the movie, but it bugs me thatRegina didn't go with Mana and the others. I would think she'd be majorly pissed off they left her behind . I also think they could have played up the weaknesses in the villains plans. NamelyMilk could have transformed where the fairies were being held, and broke them out. How yuri was that ice skating scene between Flora and Scarlet? (Seemed pretty damn yuri with the lewd handholding, spinning, dancing.

This episode Minami finds a female lover outside of the Princess group. It seems like each of the girls is acquiring a female to be their lover outside of their Princess group. Haru has the flower girl at school (Hanae Komori). Kirara has the marble donuts girl (as well as her fan girls, her manager, and her mother). Minami has Asuka, and we could probably connect Towa to Yui (Yui could move to Hope kingdom and right Towa/Scalets memoirs and be her lover).

It's no more irritating than the male heartthrobs from the early seasons, which are still deemed highly gay despite their presence, and Haruka never really goes all gushy over Kanata as far as I can tell.
Princess also has some of the most consistently good battle animation in recent series. The newest ep was just fantastic on that front.

Whoever you read was lying to you. Pink does not have a crush on the prince. Pink has feelings (that she has yet to realize) for the Blue cure. The blue cure has a thing for a female doctor, and has no interest in her so called finance (he declared himself such, and she had her family see him as nothing). Princess has been a very yuri season with very yuri episodes. Its not as yuri as DokiDoki Precure was (nothing is), and at the moment has a similar yuri vibes to Fresh (which was pretty yuri in my view). If you haven't checked out DokiDoki and/or Fresh give them a watch. If you've seen them and many other season, and are wondering if you should check out Princess then the answer is yes. Since Princess hasn't ended yet we don't know how the season will end, but to this point its been a good watch.

It kinda pains me to say that, but despite being the hettest Precure season this side of Yes5, HapCha was a rather good anniversary season and by itself. I would have preferred to have more yuri there, like yellow/purple at least, but it has more than delivered on non-romance front. Cure abilities, flight being a base one, changing costumes as powerups, high (if uneven) budget for fight scenes - were all definitely good things.

As for Princess, Kanata the prince most likely is going to have more screentime from 39 onwards, but probably won't become full blown love interest. Though he and Haruka do share a handful of scenes than can be interpreted as romantic development, most important decisions, character-wise, Haruka makes herself. Like in 39, Kanata's support of her dream was shown as important, but not as THE THING that drives her.

Not 100% certain about the "Glitter" names since the sources were in German, but they seem to just go with color names (ie. Glitter Pink, etc).

Cut episodes seem to include ep10 (where Akane tries to run her okonomiyaki shop), ep17 (the Fujiwara episode, understandable since likenesses are involved), and ep19 (the one about Yayoi's dead dad)

I can understand localization. You can get a wider audience with that, so it makes some sense.
Cutting content however, does not. Even people who have no intention of watching the original will inevitably learn that they are getting a censored version and wonder what got cut. And these days it's extremely easy to find out.

I don't think dubs are something Toei really considers for this particular franchise, because the concept of a show targeted at young girls but with an emphasis on extreme martial arts is a pretty tough sell to Western networks. It doesn't have quite the wide appeal as something like Digimon and Power Rangers, which have male leads but also female characters for girls to root for. Doesn't help that the dub of the first series only aired in Canada and the UK.

A more viable solution would be to make the other series available on Crunchyroll, but that seems to be something Toei are reluctant to do either.

In short, Happy, March and Beauty got changed to Lucky, Spring and Breeze while Sunny and Peace got to keep theirs, albeit with the Glitter moniker. Voice-wise, Miyuki/Emily sounds an awful lot like Sailor Moon's DiC VA and Yayoi/Lily's voice sounds way too deep for my liking.

So yeah, "Glitter Force" is on Netflix now, and if you're not into dubs, especially Sabany ones, it probably isn't for you, but I thought I'd give my two cents.
Oddly enough, some of the more tedious stuff is the stuff they add instead of remove:
*Episode 1 has unneccessary foreshadowing where they use future footage to give the old "they were in my dream". If you wanted to go with that plot, you should've dubbed Heartcatch.
*The show's method of avoiding epilepsy is to stick a dark and gloomy vignette over various spots. Just as attractive as it sounds.
*They reeeeeally want you to listen to this Blush group. They start off by having songs lazily synced to the Japanese ED dances, but then they do the terrifying thing of making their own dance vids using models I'm pretty sure they snagged off the first MMD modeller they could find.

As far as voices go, it's kinda cutesy and annoying, but considering the face it's a show aimed at little girls in the first place, it's fittingly cutesy and annoying. Emily sounds suitably autistic, Lily has a nice crybaby voice and Joker is flaming as fuck. There's also some lines of dialogue I found amusing. They kept in pic related so that's all I need.
For those curious about localization, so far they've just referred to okonomiyaki as "like Japanese pizza" and dubbed Kyoto "the Asia-Pacific Expo".

In short, dub-snubbers ain't gonna like it, but it's not too offensive either.
