I was wondering the same thing. About the fueling part because to my knowledge they never meet even in the anime where Tayuya gets brought back via Edo Tensei. That said this art work is adorable and I have since fallen in love with the pairing.

On a related note I wonder if we will ever get art of the goddess Kaguya with another woman. Probably not since she only appeared briefly in some flashback but hey despite Naruto usually giving its women the short end of the stick at least it's canon that the most powerful character in the series was a woman.

If you're fine with non-purely-yuri content there's always ShaperV's epic 'Time Braid', which is a completed fic from the viewpoint of a bisexual Sakura. Also in my opinion one of the best premises and execution of a Groundhog-day-style plot, which would be great to read even without the yuri.

There's also 'My Name Is Haruno Sakura', which is a yuri AU set in our world with Sakura/Ino. Started in 2006 and still slowly updating (last updated May last year).

Some people here have also in the past suggested a Sakura/Anko fanfic whose name escapes me at the moment, but I found that really hard to like (Anko says she's straight in her inner monologues but teases her student Sakura mercilessly. No yuri relationship to speak of, basically just bullying).

True, but the setting is rich enough that mistakes like that can be rectified in fanfic. One last suggestion from me, but this one sadly isn't yuri, just heavily focused on Sakura - 'One Hundred Days' and the sequel, 'One Hundred Weeks' by Aaron Nowack.

For the most part I agree with this which is sad. That said the Fourth War and Ten Tails/Obito/Madara battle has been fairly generous for the women by Naruto standards at least.

Konan would have killed Obito if it wasn't for ass pull no jutsu. She effectively countered his teleportation with ten minutes of consecutive explosions.

Ino was crucial in the fights against Edo Asuma and the Gold and Silver Brothers. Fighting Choji's body when he couldn't bring himself to fight his teacher. And taking control of two Zetsu clones at the same time to fight alongside him. She would later team up with Hinata to take control of Obito and the Ten Tails for a few seconds twice and save literally everyone in the army by redirecting the Ten Tails tailed beasts bomb.

Hinata saved Neji during the war and after the army got powered up by Naruto she proved stronger than her dad. She blocked one of the Ten Tails tails with one hand while her dad required two hand AND back up. When the Ten Tails spawned little clones of itself Hinata leaped into the fray alongside her team mates to deal with the monsters directly.

Sakura briefly awakened the same power Tsunade wields with that diamond mark and helped fight the Ten tailed clones but since Madara has become its host she has been regulated to healer status again.

So the final battle has been zig sagging with girl power. And last chapter ended with Madara attempting to attack Sakura directly so we'll see how that turns out.

If only there was, you'd probably have to scour the net. Most of the ones in FF are probably just one shot smut fics. Anything long is probably either dead or just poor quality. Reminds me of the KurenaixAnko section.

I think the HinaSaku, SakuIno, and possibly TayuHina have the most fics that are worth reading.

Well Sakura is slightly more useless than Sasuke and Naruto. She attempted to attack Madara head on as a distraction and was promptly impaled and her attack blocked by the limbo jutsu. That said Sasuke and Naruto's attacks were blocked as well and Sakura simply healed herself with Tsunade's jutsu.

But once Madara started raining down meteors she went back to useless since she lacks any ranged attacks.

All that said the upcoming Revolutions game is giving Konan an awesome collaboration jutsu with Pain. And for the first time Kushina Uzumaki is playable. Hopefully she'll be able to transform into some form of the nine tails.

this doesn't actually answer your question, but i have actually two seperate folders for rule63 with naruto.
One is for rule63 of naruto images that imply naruto was born that way, and another that he merely transformed into a girl.
In my opinion the first one is a barely okay for /u/ however the second one is actually a /d/ (in my personal opinion even a /y/)

I'd love to see a Naruto Girl Selfcest story.

unfortunately no, though i shipped them the first moment i saw them

the closest thing we got to any yuri-ish relationship is the love-hate relationship between ino and sakura. But considering both of them are trying to get into the pants of a guy(the same guy though), we can rule them out as well.
