Fine bros update
>being this desperate to not destroy your small internet fame (money)
i would have respected them more if they had stuck to there guns to be honest
Here you can see the Subs going down in real time
YT Channel TheFineBros put up a video saying they were copyrighting "___ reacts to ___" videos on youtube and that if you wanted to have video titles like that you'd have to become part of them or some shit. Naturally lots of people were up in arms and a lot of other youtubers put up their own videos in response to it.
I noticed I had a subscription for some reason and unsubbed. Felt good.
>2 selfish hacks making shitty viral cancer decide to act selfishly to acquire more money
What a shock.
Fucking kek, the one with glasses sounds like he's really pissed off. It feels like he keeps shouting and getting mad trying to say "guys look we're not trying to get all your videos taken down, we're just trying to trick you to let us upload your videos instead for more money"
They were making tv shows now. Every youtuber that made the jump ended up crashing and burning.
Next up is bfvsgf / prank vs prank, their 13 year old audience might be too young to care 2bh.
i should have said i would have respected them a bit if they had stuck to their guns then jesus fucking christ stop nit picking.
its just funny watching these jews shoot themselves in the foot
Seriously ever single one of these groups or people or whatever always shit out some dumbass movie or show that always bombs hard.
Making a 3 minute long video about some topic or joke doesn't translate to being able to write a fucking tv show or movie.
I can't see how anyone could be on their side, but remembering how retarded youtube users are I wouldn't be surprised.
>also mfw reacting to things is now considered "creating"
Society has gone off the deep end.
I'm really picking up some anger in their voices, especially at 1:48 for or 2:33.
I doubt their teenaged audience can pick up on the condescension, however.
Reddit is having a shit fit over them. That link covers all the relevant information on the case.
these guys are actually evil jews
>unsubbed when I learned about all this
>figured oh well, won't really do much
>feel much better
Holy kek. What even counts as infringement anyway? Any sort of reaction video whatsoever? The finejews are gonna have a busy time issuing cease and desists to all those thousands of fucking channels.
They're intentionally vague about what exactly their format is. They don't have to define it. They have the lawyers, and Youtube will act on anyone making a complaint. To challenge it, you need lawyers of your own and possibly go to court. They know most people won't do that. So they win by default.
When will someone get some balls and actually just shoota fucking kike for once. Get all these edgy teenagers shooting up schools, why is nobody shooting up kikes in power?
I think the idea is if you want to say "Hey, I'm Joey12345 and I'm reacting to your video submissions and giving my thoughts" that's fine. The Fine Bros are trying to copyright "[group of people] React To [video/trend/food...]" I'm not sure how in the hell that's legal. Are they going to sue that shitty MTV show "Ridiculist" for having "[MTV People] React To [Funny Fails]"?
You can actually pinpoint the exact moment they have to go back to working at Wal Mart
Hey guys, remember when youtube was a cozy place for people to upload stupid videos? Before you could make money off making cancer in video form? Back when you would watch skate bailing videos all night?
How the FUCK can you get over 5.000.000 - 10.000.000 millions per year and still fucking want more? How jewish do you have to be?
Simpler times, friend.
>no let's plays
>actually being able to see dislikes on comments
they are making between $5000 and $10000 PER DAY (and have been for years)
its too late
imagine how much property you could buy ? how much savings you could have and how much investment you could make
they fucking made it years ago unfortunately
Remember when this was on the front page instead of pranks and reaction vids lad?
Monetization happened. It became a Career. People tried to make as viral videos as possible, which means pandering to kids and retards.
Btw, how do you even make money on ads for kids? Kids are retarded and buy nothing.
For those who don't know it's not just the two of them, they have a whole squad of producers, video people, technicians, social media people and so forth. They have to split the profits a long ways.
Even without all the jewry involved with this shit the format was so much better.
I just don't understand why websites overhaul their interface like this is such a terrible manner.
14,000,000 people subscribed to this. I don't know what that translates to in money but it's got to be high 6 figure or maybe 7 figures a year right? Why the fuck would they risk all that for this new money making scheme?
>Reddit going all mad about the details instead of using this as an excuse to shit on how Opie and Dopey Fine look like fish people
Thanks for reminding me why Reddit is shit
I looked that shit up. Literally nothing about it even remotely resembled their "original" format.
She just showed some dumbass kids some old shit.
Oh now I remember that one. Thankfully I recognized the low volume trick.
The thing that depresses me about these old videos is that they're full of kids talking about their teachers or parents showing them the video. Those were/are my peers and we were the ones in their position 20 years ago.
Also, they're usually all brown and that's depressing for a different reason.
Reaction videos are cancerous anyways, I don't see why everyone's whining about this.
Im still amazed that the patent was validated, how the flying fuck
It was shit, the number of genuinely high quality videos has increased dramatically. Things like Every Frame a Painting which have been mentioned already could never even be conceived of back in the day, plus all the stupid shit is still there. Feel free to ignore the shitty big business stuff if you don't like it, what you do like is still there and better stuff besides.
Nostalgiacunts I swear to christ.
Reading that makes me feel so fucking dirty , what's this feeling
>mfw they keep talking about how they are licensing their "format"
>mfw they never actually provide specific videos or information about their "format"
>mfw the format is so fucking vague there is literally no way to demonstrate what it actually is and even if they did, it would be able to be used as evidence against them in a fucking courtroom
Someone needs to give these jews a lesson on how to jew properly.
> yourpuppetnews 25 minutes ago
All you do is react to other peoples content (Psy, Drake, Adele etc), you feel perfectly fine using their content, but have the audacity to license your own "format" that quite frankly isn't original or your idea. What a joke.
wow, youtubers are really turning on them
Did you ever notice how the OVERHAULS of the last 6 years (or so) do two things at once; They remove words (labels) where ever possible and replace them with large, soft icons, AS WELL AS make every other button bigger and bigger, with less and less defined edges?
>Trademark the word "react"
>Make a seemingly terrible business plan
>whole internet reacts to the news
>profit from all the butthurt
>these guys call themselves passionate content creators who do this stuff for the benefit of society of future generations
>they play ads on videos of kids reacting to mass murders, terrorist attacks and suicides
Why is this reaction pic making laughing so much. Jesus Christ
I'll play devil's advocate
The have 'shows' on their youtube channel, just like TV. 'Kids vs Food', or 'Parents React to: XX' are names of their shows, just like 'Top Gear' or 'Star Wars: XX' are shows/movies/franchises etc.
Why can't they copyright it? I couldn't make a tv show called Top Gear or a youtube series called Star Wars: XYZ
How is it any different? Because their franchise is online and that doesn't make it real?
It could review far more movies without the videos getting deleted and the account terminated.
You're walking on eggshells with current youtube if you're not already a big draw like pewdiepie or anyone else offering youtube jewgolds
how can a person be this fucking greedy? i really don't understand
You can copyright a show but not the idea of your show, especially when that idea is vague and not defined and gives you the power to take down videos of people showing human emotions towards things (reacting)
People don't start out making youtube videos for money, it's a hobby that turns into a career for most successful people. Finebros are basically saying fuck you to people who just want to make videos similar to their because their bank account could do with filling up more
react isn't a brand, top gear is unique combination of words, so is star wars, it's not a word that is used in other context. Now if star wars copy righted sci fi that has a similar format to it (space guns and space ships?) or if top gear sued every other car show for copying them
they'll take you down for copying their "format" as well, which they have not defined. This is like the Tonight Show trademarking their talk show "format" even though it's not the first to do it and will never be the last.
They've lost over thousands of Subs!
You can go to their channel right now wait a few mins and hit the refresh button and acutally see the number of their subs go down!
Mine's gotta be one of these. They're mostly reuploads though, couldn't find the originals
They're copyrighting their "format" so with your example it would be like you couldn't make any show that reviewed cars.
They keep saying especially in this new video that they're not copyrighting the word 'react' that it's their "format". Except what is their format? People watching things and commenting? That's so vague it would give them free reign to shut down anyone
Because the concept of their videos is "X watches X"
Their "trademark" is so vague they can apply it to almost anything, hence why they legitimately claimed Ellen Degeneres stole from them by doing a bit where she showed kids old technology.
>'Kids vs Food'
Is that really a trademark of theirs?
>dont get credit for something you didnt invent
>get butthurt and order your legion of 12 year old minions to bombard Ellen degeneres with twitter comments
Holy shit, how are these people popular
This is probably what they were hoping everybody's reactions would be.
>They keep saying especially in this new video that they're not copyrighting the word 'react' that it's their "format".
But that's a lie, their trademark application says that they're literally just trying to copyright the word "React". Also "Kids React", "Teens React", "Celebrities React", and "Adults React".
>literal personal army request
These kikes are something else.
>I'm ashamed that you are part of the Star Wars fan base and you definitely don't deserve to be becasue guess what JJ Abrams and Spielberg are?
JJ Abrams made TFA and Spielberg was a guest director in Episode 3. They didn't really make Star Wars what it was.
m8. The Walton family of Wal-Mart has 3 siblings in the top 10 "richest peoplr on Earth list" and their company is infamous for doing everything they can to get around any labor law they can and underpay and shit on their employees as much as possible.
One notable trick that Wal-Mart does in my state is to build a new store and then abandon it exactly 10 years after that. There's a stipulation in taxes designed to help new small businesses during their first few years.
There is no limit to human greed. These people are small fry competing for scraps compared to the truly wealthy.
You usually cant copyright terms considered generic.
For example Games Workshop tried to copyright Space Marine and Imperial Guard.
Didnt work out.
Had to change them to Adeptus Astrates and Astra Militanum.
Just as they couldnt tm elves and dwarves and orcs, so they gave them all more funny names in their new game
On Jewtube if you have more Jews or views than someone else you can instantly block any of their videos and thieve their monetization. Jewgle gets around having to follow U.S. law by pretending to be retarded.
i don't doubt that they're shady jews with no morals at all, but aren't people overreacting a bit here? i find it hard to believe they're actually taking down people's videos when all it would do is have a negative effect on their profits. surely they just want to trick naive people into signing up to their franchise.
Can someone fill me in on what the fuck is going on?
Who the fuck are these guys and why is there such happening?
I most likely don't know them because i have huge ban list for channels.
The fact that they play other peoples content on their channel and still stand there and say "dont use content" then use the reacting-to format and say "dont use our format" is hilarious
All the other youtubers that were in their vids are probably never going to do another one again.
I'm glad these cancerous YouTube Jews overstepped their mark. Their hypocrisy and greed is almost unbelievable.
God, why fucking work when you can literally film people reacting to other people's work? I've gotta get on this JewTube shit, it's absurd that people actually get money from this.
help me think of an idea, /tv/. Let's make some serious cash off normies and children.
What they are trying to do is 'FRANCHISING', it's as simple as that. You have the money to expand our band, good, welcome aboard. But why are they trying to copyright videos where people talk about a certain thing, aka. trying to copyright a "format". How can you even call that a format when people talking in front of a camera and then changing to other people is a common "format" in TV shows.
why should anyone have to do that? who the fuck are they to control how people title their words? you just used the word in your sentence, with that logic they can come after you too.
Do you really need help googling "richest people"?
I'm not going to help you with tech support, grandma.
It does double-damage. Bigger friendlier buttons are for finger-controls. Touch-screens.
Removing the text means you don't need to have a different UI for different countries/languages.
Fuck no, this is America
You could lose your job and be publicly shamed for it, but arrested, no
Unless you actually had like a bunch of gas and the capability to do it, and then made clear threats to do it, then we would see some legal action.
No. He didn't threaten to shoot up a school. You don't get arrested for hate speech in the US, that's the UK you're thinking of.
I know. I'm just saying that I should probably just stop going to university and think of a way to get YouTube famous, and that its just absurd that there's enough people watching these videos for advertisers to be interesting in paying them.
At least twitch autists get basic human interaction and if they're lucky, some tit or ass. Why anyone would watch other people experience media is beyond me, regardless of the format.
>in the US
Parts of Europe, I believe so.
You need to make a credible and direct thread to a person or organization for any action to be taken.
>I wish Hitler killed all the Jews so you wouldn't exist
>I'm going to kill you tomorrow, Jew
Not good, especially if you could actually physically do so (located nearby)
I've been using YouTube since 2009 and I swear I've had half of these successful ideas before, so it's not like anything, literally anything, is out of the question. I mean, Filthy Frank gets by through dressing up and screaming like a faggot, so anything's possible. Anything is palatable to these morons. Why dont we start filming people's reactions to people's reactions? And if someone's done that already, people's reactions to people's reactions to people's reactions.
OC donut steel btw
apparently they trademarked:
Fine Brothers Entertainment
Do They Know It?
People vs. Technology
Try Not to Smile or Laugh
Yea, but the first amendment is kinda the foundation of America. Being able to get together and shit talk whoever or whatever you want and not get arrested by a king.
If they take that away, whats the point anymore.
It's on page 4. This thread won't archive for at least another 30 minutes-likely over an hour.
Autosage does not mean the thread will die immediately outside of /b/
That Ellen video is priceless too. When that little kid starts talking about the script he wrote about his Indiana Jones OC (donut steal) stopping the jews from taking over the world and Ellen actually jokes about it instead of censoring it made me gain a little respect for her.
Coincidental too, Feinstein Brothers.
>Kids are retarded and buy nothing.
Because parents are pussys and consider their child's opinion as valid, I used to work selling cars and no shit the kids were choosing the car sometimes
They were molested as children so now they're taking their anger out on the world by copyrighting everything
Reacts videos are cancer anyways
I mean, they're fine if there's actual original content like a joke or skit or something
But most of the ones i see are just people or a group of people watching something and doing nothing
>it takes the effort of a whole squad of people to produce this shit fest
el oh el
She's probably the main mastermind behind why youtube is like it is. She was a failing TV actress (she was in madtv) and tried to keep her career going on youtube. Her original plan was to make a station to get all the youtubers to make content together lining up her pockets. I can only imagine her face when disney bought maker studios.
