>Decide to watch one film every day for the whole year
>Already failing miserably
>Have to watch at least 10 films today to catch up
Why am I such a fucking failure?
>tfw pic related
>tfw watched 27 already
>tfw started the 7th though
It's never too late OP, start the 1st of february and don't stop.
I misread that as asking us what movie we'd want to watch once a day for a year. Groundhog Day is the obvious choice, by the way.
Try spacing it out. Try just shifting it to two movies a day until you catch up. Or however many you can manage in a day.
You can make it work, OP. Just keep to your schedule, stick to your guns, and maybe try to get the movies out of the way early in your days so you don't forget about it later.
Have you tried watching something good? Whats the point of forcing yourself watching 365 movies if all you see is fucking garbage.
Also, good job at pretending you like menilmontant when you watch shit like kingsman and uncle, im pretty sure your friends think you are true a cinephile now for watching silent films.
>Have you tried watching something good?
Yes, I have hundreds of great films to watch and I've just been trying to catch up with what I've missed from the past two years.
>pretending you like menilmontant when you watch shit like kingsman and uncle
I don't pretend to like it since I've always loved silent films and have downloaded a lot on Blu-Ray, pic related. As for Kingsman and Uncle, they were suprisingly good movies for their genre, hence the 4 star rating which to me simply means ''Good'', see my bio http://letterboxd.com/alessandro74/
Don't make assumptions when you're clueless.
>bone tomahawk 2
>mulholand drive 2.5
>jupiter ascending 2.5
>the man from uncle 4
>watches a film like Júpiter ascending for fun
I literally just watched it to rate it, it's shit.
>can enjoy silient films
''Silent'' is not really a genre, there are various different types of silent films and I'm able to enjoy them as easy as any talkie. Faust (1926) is my favorite.
>using that scale
That scale is still used to rate motion pictures based on their genre. The Lion King is a 5/5 to me and so is The Conformist but one of them is clearly superior despite being both masterpieces for their respective genre.
>>bone tomahawk 2
>>mulholand drive 2.5
>>jupiter ascending 2.5
If you believe any of those three failures deserve a score above 50% you should crawl back to reddit/r/movies.
>>the man from uncle 4
Yes, 4 stars because it's a surprisingly good flick for its genre which is action/comedy.
So you are those kind of those retarded objectivist who try to rate films on a mechanical level, whats the point of making a letterboxd account then, are you telling me that you can rate with a 5 a film you disliked just because its a masterpiece in his own genre? And do you think that i dont know that silent isnt a gente, what are you trying to prove
>whats the point of making a letterboxd account then
I like how everything is well organized on the site.
>are you telling me that you can rate with a 5 a film you disliked just because its a masterpiece in his own genre?
No because if I disliked that film I wouldn't consider it a masterpiece.
>what are you trying to prove
Nothing, I'm just responding to your idiotic assumptions.
Then tell me why it doesn't deserve 4 stars since that rating obviously seems to bother you.
Same for 50 Shades of Grey, it's popular and I heard it's shit, I watched that too just for shits and giggles.
>People who actively watch movies they don't expect to enjoy
Stop. Even for a NEET that's a waste of time.
>Then tell me why it doesn't deserve 4 stars since that rating obviously seems to bother you
So i win, thank you for playing. Good job in turning an art form in a fashion accesory.
Learn what you respond to you spastic imbecile.
>You learn more from bad movies than you do from good ones
How the fuck does that even imply: ''DUDE WATCH SHIT MOVIES ONLY LMAO''???
This is just from an email they sent but I think letterboxd pro might let you look at this better. But yeah, you log a film and can rate and review.
>B-Bone Tomameme, Mulholland Drive, Jupiter Ascending and the list goes on!
No, you're the redditor, kiddo.
Mulholland Drive I guess? Nah, it's literally reddit-core. You need to watch more films pal.
>he didn't like The Man from UNCLE
Explain why it is a bad flick and name 5 better Action/Comedy flicks from this decade or call mommy so she can come hold your hand and walk you the fuck back to reddit.
no just someone who has seen enough jewish bullshit to tell what's going on. It gets so obvious what kind of retard is writing this crap when you see the same stupid tropes and ideology embedded in every episode
you're just a cuck for consuming shit media
>''it's just reddit!''
I'll ask again: Explain why they're bad flicks and name 5 better Action/Comedy flicks from this decade or call mommy so she can come hold your hand and walk you the fuck back to reddit.
Why forcing yourself? you won't get anything from said movies if you rush them.
Unless you're a paid critic I don't see the point, some movies need to be watched more than one time and do some research to appreciate, you will miss out if you just watch film after film mindlessly.
>They're quirky shit you retard
That's not an argument you little turd. You just cannot explain why they're bad flicks for their genre (mainly comedy) therefore stop getting butthurt about people who are able to enjoy them.
>You like Dr. Who as well?
I don't watch tv shows. Now call mommy so she can come hold your hand and walk you the fuck back to reddit.
You don't understand the meaning of that word. Lurk more instead of making cringeworthy posts, silly redditor.
Then don't fucking reply to me again unless I'm talking to you.
>Then don't fucking reply to me again unless I'm talking to you.
Holy fuck how can you be this mad, oh yeah you are a wannabe patrician who got rekt.
Go watch twilight just for rating it, and remember to give it at least a 4, so you appear as a true Contrarian cinephile
Jesus Christ reddit, stop posting already.
>Not reading only two or three true patrician books and getting the most of them through an exhaustive analysis and research
Rushing things to make your list bigger is the real pleb thing to do.
>I was just pretending to be retarded xD
>redditurds trying this hard to fit in
