You are now aware that you live in a world, a terrifying world, where there are people right this moment who use terms such as "canon" and "cinematic universe" when talking about films and television shows.
A terrifying world where imagined characters on a screen are required, according to those who discuss them, to adhere to "ground rules" set out by the creators of said-characters. A terrifying world where those that discuss these characters and their actions, are actually enraged if said-characters deviate from the mannerisms expected of them, the mannerisms that may have initially been set in the pages of a comic book.
Think about that. A comic book. For children. Yes, pictures and words on the same page, which are meant to be read by children, that are actually read by adults. Adults who bicker and express their frustration at film-adaptations of these comic books not being "faithful". Faithful to a comic book. That's supposed to be read by young children.
This is your world. This is the world of capeshit. Terrifying, isn't it?
Chris Evans is still under contract from Marvel to reprise his role for Infinity War 1&2. If Thanos is still infatuated with Death and she makes an appearance it's possible there's a workaround.
Iron Man retires in shame
Thor dies in ragnarok
Hulk gets lost in space
Whats left of the Avengers gets rekt in Infinity War part 1
The original team comes back through bullshit in part 2, both teams combine + guardians and dr strange. Beat Thanos.
based Liz Olsen getting off the capeshit ride
>two of the most interesting and promising characters die
>piece of shit characters like tony and black widow survive
just fuck this goddamn movie. I was so glad to see more of chris evans
I don't like Bucky. The character, the actor everything. He's shit.
Bucky was Captain America before Falcon in the comics. Not handing the mantle to him in the MCU would be a big FU to his character arc. You know, considering the dude has had literally TWO films dedicated to and revolving around him.
Did you miss the very obvious shot in TWS where Bucky holds onto Cap's shield... just like Cap?
I know. They're having Civil War without the X-men, though, so forgive me my doubts that they'll stick to comic canon. Anthony Mackie is likable and black, which is all the justification they'll need to give to reporters when they ask about the choice.
X-Men weren't a big part of the Civil War. though. They remained mostly neutral, and Wolverine cared more about catching Nitro for blowing up a bus full of innocents than punching other heroes because of how they should deal with what Nitro did.
>Spider-man leaves the avengers
fake as fuck he aint even in the avengers
>exclusive entertainment weekly pics
>snaps from the trailer
>Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out
>everyone spews a bunch of "leaks"
>none of them were true
>Captain America: Civil War coming out
>there's literally no reason to assume this is true
Why would you use the comic books as a standard for what will occur in the movies at all? Ultron wasn't even made by fucking Tony Stark in the comics, he was made by Hank fucking Pym, aka Ant-Man (and the original one, not the Paul Rudd one.)
The premise of why there's a Civil War is literally the only thing that you can count on. What happens to the characters is literally entirely up in the air.
>A terrifying world where imagined characters on a screen are required, according to those who discuss them, to adhere to "ground rules" set out by the creators of said-characters.
I don't understand what the problem is with this. Am I supposed to take porn parodies seriously? I just can't see vader being redeemed after he raped his own daughter and switched from a black guy to a white guy inexplicably.
> Son of the man who fished the tesseract out of the oceans, to create weapons. Which lead to the first Avengers movie.
> literally caused the creation of ultron which nearly destroyed the world.
Tony Stark is worthless. If he dies, nothing of value is lost since War Machine is still around. At least he wont create villains
> Character who can actually fight Thanos and may even have the backing of a fucking shitkicker Elder God, character who was trained by Cap and whose death would effectively cheapen his...killed off.
Meanwhile pallette swap shottoclones that make up the rest of the Avengers fall apart.
Are you excited to see the likes of Widow, Hawkeye, Agent 13, Falcon, and Bucky fight Thanos? Oh, the excitement...
> btw how can this movie be "funnier" than Winter Soldier when 2 major Avengers fucking die.
What do you mean? Is Hawkeye jackshit in being useful? Yes. Is he awesome in Avengers 2 for some reason: hell yea.
I doubt Iron Man will change anything; he'll come back again. He is the only one who actually does shit. The Hulk was deus ex machina, most of the time.
I'd pay a lot more money to see Avenger/Marvel bullshit movies to see them fighting side by side than killing off one or the other
God damn can't those two just have a bit of happiness they've been through so much it's tedious at this point
Nah, it makes sense.
>Vision ragequits to space
>Vision finds Time Stone with Guardians of the Galaxy
>Vision brings Scarlet Witch back to life
>Infinity War Part 1 ends with Thanos ripping the Mind Stone out of Vision's head and killing him
>Now Scarlet Witch is mad
