There's nothing wrong with the CGI, it's just the aesthetic that makes it look odd, because it follows Warcraft/WoW's aesthetic very closely. It's a big gamble because a lot of people think it looks silly, but it's one of the most defining things from those games. It will either look cool or completely ridiculous.

The dark portal was opened for the first time by medivh, not Gul dan, when he was possessed by Sargeras so this is a big problem

Blackhand got his ass kicked during the first invasion and ogrim was the next in line. Blackhand was chosen by gul dan because he was a retard, ogrim knew this. In W2 before the last confrontation with humans or after you fail, i dont remember, you are told by ogrim to go kill Gul dan
