Has any actor's death hit you hard?
no, but i have a bad feeling its coming up...
Heath Ledger's death caught me off guard.
I'm not a 14 year old facebook slut so no
I mean sure I went like, "oh shit that sucks" when some famous died. Robin WIlliams, Terry Pratchet, didn't really cry or mourn to long when relatives of mine died, why the fuck should an actors death hit you hard if you don't know them personally?
>why the fuck should an actors death hit you hard if you don't know them personally?
Because if you pretend to care you get loads of likes and upboats!
But yeah, what he said. Fuck 'em.
literally born for this role
An Australian band wrote a song about where they were when they found out
"It had just started snowing. It was a magical moment. That night we had to do this Australia gig, and when we got to it we found out that Heath Ledger had died. He'd died two blocks from where I was walking and at the time I was walking and it started snowing. He was from Perth and we were in New York, this big foreign city, and I felt this immense loneliness of this kid from my hometown dying by himself there."
You mean don't know personally, surely. And maybe that actor was in a role they really liked, or a movie they were in made them feel better about themselves at the time, or even that actor's one role reminded them of someone they knew in real life who is gone so it hurts doubly bad.
There's a bunch of reasons but no reason for you to act like a cock because people show emotion, you stupid robot.
This. Andy Whitfield's death was like a kick in the gut. You expect older actors to go, but not fine young actors coming into their own. One year he's headlining Spartacus, the next he's dead.
I went cold in the guts over Alan Rickman dying and as a little kid I actually blubbed about Richard Harris, about whom I didn't know much at all but...well (picture).
Literally the only time I ever shed a tear for a celebrity
Harris Wittels death last year ruined me for a while. Really loved his comedy and overall presence.
Meanwhile, I had a huge fucking grin on my face when I told my sister that Philip Seymour Hoffman died.
Heroin overdoses give me such a hit or miss of remorse.
I was around 8 years old and he was just this presence in my life, i looked up to him and i watched everything he was in over and over again.
Then my mom came in and threw the newspaper down right in front of me "Farley Dead At 33" and my heart broke, i doubt another death will hit me as hard.
Honestly, just with the context of the persona he established in his movies, he is the last kind of person you'd expect to kill themself
It felt like a collective failure of humanity that we drove this happy man to such despair
>makes fun of Bush
>is a depressed self-loathing failure
I see a pattern here
Grizzly Adams, because he didn't get single thread about his death here since he's not in meme movies like Harry Potter.
Plus he's my inspiration who taught me how to calm down grizzly bears enough to fuck them without getting eaten.
yeah you can never watch Land before time in the same light, after hearing bout the shit this girl went through.
>being emotionally attached to people you don't know, you'll never know and are probably liberals and fag enablers
o am I laffin'
only PSH and it didn't last more than a couple hours. Musicians deaths are much tougher, same with directors.
You never even got to know any of your favorite actors, they were
acting. I didn't even like Bowie that much but I got to know a lot of him through his songs, so it mattered to me.
>Judith was last seen riding her bike on the morning of July 25, 1988. That evening, József shot her in the head while she was sleeping, and then murdered Maria. He spent the next two days wandering around the house, and said during a phone conversation with Judith's agent the next night that he intended to move out for good, and just needed time to "say goodbye to my little girl." He then poured gasoline on the bodies and set them on fire.[
nigga thats fucked up yep yep yep
I will probly tear up when his beheding video hits the internet
I didn't know him until a few years ago but Jack Nance's death always gets me. Probably the saddest actor death I know.
First his wife:
>In May 1991 he married Kelly Jean Van Dyke, the daughter of Jerry Van Dyke. She worked in the adult film industry under the name Nancee Kelly. On November 17, 1991, Nance, who was in Bass Lake, California, filming Meatballs 4 at the time, called Van Dyke to end the relationship. As he attempted to console her, she threatened suicide if Nance hung up the phone. At that point, a lightning storm knocked out the phone lines in Bass Lake.
>In the pouring rain, Nance went to the nearby lodgings of the film's director, Bobby Logan, seeking help. Logan recalls in I Don't Know Jack, "He says, 'I think my wife just killed herself.' Jack and I had a relationship on the set where we were always playing practical jokes on one another. I figured he was doing that to me. So I said, 'Being married to you, who could blame her?' And when I said that, suddenly a little tear trickled down his cheek, and I realised it wasn't the rain that had hit him in the face."
>With most of the phones in the area still out, it took Nance and Logan 45 minutes of driving around to find a deputy sheriff who contacted Los Angeles police and the apartment manager. They broke into her apartment and found that she had hanged herself.
>Nance died in South Pasadena, California on December 30, 1996 under mysterious circumstances. Nance told friends he had been beaten by a young homeless man outside a Winchell's Donuts store near his apartment building in early morning hours of December 29.
>Later that day, he lunched with friends Leo Bulgarini and Catherine Case. Nance had a visible "crescent shaped bruise" under his right eye and when asked about it, he related to them the story about the fight. He soon went home, complaining of a headache. Unknown to him, the head injuries he received from the altercation caused a subdural hematoma, resulting in his death the following morning. Nance died alone in his apartment. His body was discovered on the bathroom floor by Bulgarini shortly before 12 noon on December 30. An autopsy revealed that, in addition to the head injury responsible, Nance's blood alcohol level was .24 percent at the time of his death. A subsequent police investigation failed to find evidence of the alleged fight.
>they way you eat you're gonna have a heart attack before 50
i have a dreading feeling his will be this year
screencap this post
These, as well as pic related, although he's unknown in most foreign countries.
I would kill a hundred black people just to bring back this one and hear his opinions on 2015
also phil hartman. I was on the schoolbus heading home, and the radio said something about "Phil Hartman's body" and I had a feeling they don't talk about Phil Hartman's body if there's still the spark of life inside that body. it was like a family member dying.
When I heard the news that Jack Black had killed himself I was depressed for 2 weeks.
R.I.P. in peace, sweet prince.
I believe I will actually cry when this happens
give back the falklands, fuck off you entitled cunt
cheated death so many times making great films
i bet even death him/herself is holding off just so he/she can see them.
but eventually, that clock will strike the bells for jackie chan.
