MOVIE STILLS THREAD PART 2
>That's right....I've killed women & children..
found it through netflix. Got really drunk before Istarted the movie (expecting it to be shit). stopped 2/3 way through the movie, specifically to sober up and smoke a bowl because I knew from that point on, it is a fire fucking movie. 8/10
Yeah. It only got so much hate here because of its rave reviews. It's a solid work, and easily the best English language effort from a South Korean director, besides maybe Stoker.

Really was kind of even structurally a remake or "spiritual sequel" or some shit of Zero Dark Thirty, except the protagonist in ZDT actually played a functional role in the plot.
>Protagonist almost gets killed twice before the third act.
>We're doing fucked up shit secretly
>Climax featured night op with thermal/night vision.
>le camera movement argument
What abiout static shots, tardino?
I didn't hate it. Had a lot of positives. Sicario had more Drama with the protagonist actually being an outsider who got beefs with what they're doing. I think ZDT is probably more realistic (if someone was repeatedly voicing their disapproval they'd be shitcanned off the project probably after the first day), which doesn't necessarily make it more compelling though.
For being such a volatile, unreliable asshole, he was in a LOT of movies.
I read Herzog's book about the filming of Fitzcarraldo and learned more than I wanted to about Kinski. While threatening people he would brag about doing nasty things to his daughters and the crew had to bribe the owner of the hotel Kinski was at to let him stay because he kept loudly and publicly beating his wife.
you can stop stalker at any scene and get a hella composed pic from it
