>>64749839 So he goes from 520 to 470. Not to mention that they have wild game and tons of fruit (high in calories and carbs). It is still quite possible to be fat on an island, look at Haiwaiians. "I'm a big guy, it's going to take a while to notice."
>>64751297 a lot of dharma stuff. i dont remember which season was which but basically they got off the island and had flash forwards. then they came back to the island which was set a few years in the future of the original season. Then others went back in time to the 70s where a lot of the stuff happened in later seasons
>>64751297 Good for you. s5 and 6 are significantly worse than the previous ones.
S5 >6 of the survivors escape the island, the rest, including Locke, are unwillingly jumping around in time because Ben 'moved' the island with that magic donkey wheel. >The ones who escaped all lie about the island to protect it. >Ben must convince everyone to return to the island for reasons I can't fully remember(because time travel jumping would stop if they return?) >Ben kills Locke after convincing him not to kill himself(what?) >Everyone takes a flight back to the island, but half of the characters end up in the 70's in Dharma times. >The characters are trying to stop the Dharma 'incident' from happening and change the timeline by throwing a nuclear bomb into the construction of the Swan.
s6 >An alternative timeline is created due to the characters setting off the bomb in the 70's. >In this flash-sideways timeline the island is under the ocean and none of the characters have been on it. >In the 'real' timeline the characters who were in the 70's are transported to present time and meet up with the rest of the characters who went back to the island. >Locke returns but is actually the smokemonster >Smokemonster makes Ben kill Jacob so smokemonster can kill everyone? >Turns out smokemonster and Jacob are hundreds of years old 'guardians' of the island and they play weird games of chess with humans to prove their respective points about humanity. >Smokemonster is kill, Desmond saves time >Hurley is new 'jacob' of island >In alternative flash sideways timeline the islanders begin to remember the 'real' timeline and each other. >They all meet up in a church where Jack's father is waiting for him >Turns out the alternative timeline was some sort of purgatory where all of the islanders will meet up after dying at some point. >Everything that took place on the island was real. >They all hug and walk into the light together.
>>64751297 80% of every episode was a flashback forcing us to like the characters for their tragic backstory and not for their actions on the island.
When they run out of flashback shit, they finally let some people off the island while others get sent back in time and introduce new characters to do flashbacks for, then they do flashbacks for the characters who left and give them le ebin tragic events all over again.
And then all the faggots that left the island decide they need to go back and finally figure out how to get back but they all die trying to get back and get caught in purgatory. Everyone on the island already lived out their life and died.
The island they get to isn't even the island, it's purgatory. Everyone from the flight and everyone who was originally on the island get sent there. And due to mind fuckery and being dead and all, they don't remember that they died and all assume they're still alive and that their life continued on up to the point where the people try and get back, which is where it spins in to an alternate timeline within purgatory.
There is also the parallel in which they escape purgatory, and that involves everyone who died finding eachother in the "real world" and remembering that they were in purgatory, and then they all cross over at the end.
>>64749960 Fat tends to make people look all the same. The way we distribute it might vary a bit, but when you reach that level of obesity it has to eventually end up in places it normally wouldn't. This gives people a sort of unified blobbish shape, forcing them to wear similar looking clothes and have similar grooming habits.
The only place that's really safe is the face. Unless you're that one girl who gets posted on /fit/ with fat that started to store itself in her forehead.
>>64757648 I always felt shows like LOST are only fun when you watch an episode and wonder what next while discussing it with others who are never ahead. This is why I couldn't finish LOST. Too late to the party.
>>64759017 This. LOST was GOAT show to wait for, discuss and watch with friends each week. A huge part of the enjoyability of it was making up crazy theories and waiting in anticipation after a major twist + all of the fan hype and the fact that everyone was watching it at the time. I'd say almost 50% of the show is everything that surrounded it when it came out.
It's a show I dearly love because I had so much fun watching when it came out, but the rewatch value now that the whole thing is over isn't that high desu. Especially since you know how everything pans out, and it's nowhere close to the amazing things you imagined in the earlier seasons.
Also fillers and too lengthy seasons. LOST fillers were shit.
