It really is. WCs is probably the Wayans best movie by far. It got F reviews when it came out, but I think it plays better in today's atmosphere of tension surrounding gender issues. Then again, the Wayans were always a bit ahead of their time
A bunch of comedies that nearly anyone you ask loves like Dodgeball, early Sandler movies (billy, happy, deeds), dumb and dumber, actually a lot of jim carrey movies lol. the Mask was critically panned flop and poor user but most people i ever talk to loved it
This show was fucking hilarious and only ran for one season as far as I can remember
The plot of the movie is simple, it states it from the very first frames of the movie. Russel Crowe's commands a ship during the Napoleonic Wars and is tasked to find a French ship that's disrupting trade n shit. His orders are literally "Sink, Burn, or take her as a Prize"
The themes of the movie are more complicated but one thing thats obvious is the theme of whether men need leaders and do what they're told, Russel Crowe is a boss in that movie and almost acts as a dictator the same type as the one he's fighting (Napoleon)
Pic related is one of the GOAT psychological thrillers and flew pretty much under the radar
It's more abstract.
It's a weird look into the fucked-up lives of a few people, with little exposition or plot.
I personally think it's style-over-substance, but a lot of people hold it's better than Drive.
Worth a watch just for the visuals.
I'm not so sure, its largely forgotten and people think the Avengers is superior. IMO Spiderman 3 made people forget this movie.
That scene when Peter tells Aunt May that he's responsible for Uncle Ben's death is great cinema and he suffers so much in this movie. something I wish main characters would feel more. I'm no sadist but characters suffering makes thing more interesting (TFA mary sue never suffers)
Better than the theatrical cut. Oliver Stone is biased but he really believes Alexander was a force for good so take it with a grain of salt,
