Doe anyone else think they really fucked something up recording the title crawl music? The trumpets/french horn/whatever sound like AIDS
>THE PHANTOM MENACE
>Turmoil has engulfed the
Galactic Republic. The taxation
of trade routes to outlying star
systems is in dispute.
>Hoping to resolve the matter
with a blockade of deadly
battleships, the greedy Trade
Federation has stopped all
shipping to the small planet
>While the Congress of the
Republic endlessly debates
this alarming chain of events,
the Supreme Chancellor has
secretly dispatched two Jedi
Knights, the guardians of
peace and justice in the
galaxy, to settle the conflict....
Yeah definitely written by a guy who just overhears Star Wars discussions/arguments.
Kinda like if someone made a comic about Trekkies and assumed the primarily argument the nerds was Kirk vs. Picard.
That's actually not a bad crawl. It presents the problem, explains why it's important to the whole "Republic" and puts you right in the throes of the opening conflict completely informed and up to speed.
The movie is shit but that opening crawl is decent.
I know that in all reality the Zen Pencils artist just doesn't know enough about Star Wars to know that George Lucas is really the only person on the "Greedo Shot First" side and that this isn't some "Team Edward" sort of thing. I've seen his other comics, the guy is a fucking idiot who substitutes emotion for substance.
But still, in my mind the "Greedo Shot First" guy is a /tv/ contrarian who will take on literally any opinion so long as it is sufficiently unpopular.
>its a "the faggot who draws zen pencils steals a quote and uses it to push his own reddit agenda" episode
wha kind of retard argues that Greedo shot first
no one would ever buy a t-shirt that says that
the person who made this comic is probably a female who saw Star Wars for the first time 2 months ago and is now "so nerdy amirite guys!?!??! xD"
star wars is so normie now
maybe, but the new movie is ultra-PC and panders really hard to women especially
the main character was a woman, who was perfect and invincible, and there were tons of women in jobs throughout the first order in the background
>the main character was a woman, who was perfect and invincible, and there were tons of women in jobs throughout the first order in the background
Only the first one is a problem.
>WAAAAAAAAAAAH THERE'S GIRLS IN MY STAR WARS FUCKING NORMIES WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
My favorite part is that none of that art is good, or even 'art' at all. Also lmao @ the IRS putting someone in jail on an apparent whim, to such an erroneous degree that the dude in prison can become a massianic anti-capitalist author. Holy cow.
Do Americlaps really treat nerd shit like a religious experience?
Some faggot seriously yelled when Rey turned on the lightsaber for the first time, he also started cheering when she slashed Kylo and him and his group were the only ones who clapped. This was TWO(2) days after it came out at a midnight showing no one in the theater I watched it at myself included gave fuck about this shit. I'm pretty sure that cuck cried and I hope he's dead.
the whole point is that the characters girlfriend is wearing a "han shot first" shirt because HAHAHA DESPITE OUR MANY DIFFERENCES WE STILL GET ALONG HAHAH EVEN THOUGH SHES A CHINK AND IM A PURE BLOODED ARYAN OPPRESSOR!
This is such a horrible lesson to try and teach people. Not everyone is going to be rich and successful just because they're a good person. Often the asshole bullies are going to become rich or famous or whatever. The lesson should be turn the other cheek and not dwell on the lives of others, not find success just to go back and rub it in their face... this artist is a manchild.
>implying kikerberg wasn't a fucking chad
I had an entire row of the 501st club behind me,the entire movie was filled with them woooing, crying and clapping like it was the greatest thing they have ever experienced in there lives.
And here I was sitting there trying to sink in all the "what the fuck whys"they did in the movie
Welcome to 40k,will you choose loyalty to the Emperor or get BLAMed like the rest of the heretics?
Seriously what's with people with this look and premature balding? Is it confirmation bias or do most per-maturely balding males turn to this look?
Feels good as fuck having hair.
Why the fuck are beard and glasses on there? A beard is a manly thing and glasses are for anyone. You think I'm gonna shave and wear some gay fucking contacts to appease to your faggot permavirgin asses? How about I curbstomp you instead you cumchugging niggers. You can tell that shit was written by some wispy faced /v/edditor.
Found the kid who can't grow a beard. Tell me /v/edditor how many guys with beards laughed at you in your gaymergate chatroom that you had to start crying about men with beards?
Video game journalism is not a real thing.
Mel Gibson has a beard and he's the most non nu-male manly man in the world. That picture is retarded and you should be ashamed for reposting it.
here we see the incredibly worthless male cling to his only perceived redeeming aesthetic feature, the beard, if it were to become criticized or seen as a negative trait in any way he would be absolutely devastated and left with 0 self-esteem, watch as he fights to his last breathe to hold on to his last shred of dignity
>I don't like your facial accessories so you're a male feminist
I always felt like "hoping to resolve the problem with a blockade of deadly battleships" was supposed to be funny, like damn what an overreaction
"Hey guys we don't really like this whole tax th-"
"Ok well here's a BLOCKADE OF DEADLY BATTLESHIPS YOU FUCKS"
I almost got a bit teary when the theme blared and the opening crawl started, took me back to the first time I watched Star Wars and the whole anticipation about what the fuck this was going to be about.
Then captain clanky showed up, Kylo Ren taking off his mask, the whole rant by Rey telling Finn she is a big strong woman and don't need no nigga holding her hand just left me sporting a sneer on my face that lasted the rest of the movie, the 10 minute drive back home and the subsequent 4 hours posting my opinions about the film on /tv/.
