Never knew why people were so surprised that in what is ultimately a sci-fi series, that science has found some rudimentary ways to explain the phenomenon of the force. High midichlorian count is not like a DBZ power level nor is it a potential cap, it's more like an indicator of natural talent. People with more can learn easier and can tap into the raw power of the force with less effort.

Anakin's midichlorian count was not what made him so powerful, it was the destiny that the will of the force set out for him that did.

The way I see it with midichlorians we have skywalkers who are on top then you have everyone else who is a tier down. To have her 200x Luke Skywalker would be a significant deviation. That wouldn't stop the complaints about her being a Mary Sue either. Part of her being a Mary Sue is that she apparently has no flaws and is a perfect hero. If she went to the darkside (unlikely) that would be something which actually would stop complaints.
