i saw an early screening of this film last week. 10/10 cinematography and acting. But a super underwhelming plot. I could foresee the end of the film from the moment leo was buried in the dirt. Very over hyped and not nearly as good as i expected it to be.

I can't wait to watch the sequel where Joaquim Phoenix will get attacked by a lion and will have to survive the desert.

Birdman had some actual substance and meaning behind its flashy art - though not much.
Revenant had none. The most pretentious thing I've seen all year.
