What're your thoughts on Gaspar Noé, /tv/? One trick pony

I like his early films and Irreversible, but since Enter the void, i feel like he became a one trick pony.
He is very special though in filming events as if he was right in the corner of the room. When something feels wrong, he wants you to physically experience it, more than intellectually.
So in that way, he is a great filmmaker. But it doesn't mean that i like it always.
He could make a great horror movie, but it's probably not arty enough for him.

One of my favorite directors.

His movies tend to leave a large impact, just in the excess of stimulation you experience while being sunk into that tone of melancholia that permeates in every one of his works. I noted that the most in Love, which even though he wanted to make a romantic movie, ended up still leaving you in a state of hollowness, like a vessel overfilled and now empty.
