So I finally watched Alien last year and just finished Aliens for the first time, and I'm confused.
People actually like Aliens and say it's as good/better than Alien and the point where the series died?
Alien was 1000x better than this boring overlong shooting gallery. I don't get how this is accepted.
3 is just dull. It's ok, and takes it back to Alien, but it's not good. Resurrection is just bad. It's dumber than all hell, and sucks donkey ass. Worst flick Whedon has ever written.
>using south cuck as an argument
Alien has remained timeless and creepy while Aliens has become incredibly dated and didn't really have much to offer in the realm of the lore behind the original film. Sure it was a good action movie but besides that it didn't excel on any other fronts.
It's only uninspired, to you, because you watched all the later movie garbage that stole from it, and assumed it was unoriginal.
