LEO HAS BEEN WEARING HIS RED KABBALAH BRACELT ON EVERY INTERVIEW
HE HAS BEEN NON_STOP RUNNING ON ABOUT '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''CLIMATE'''''''''''''''''''''''''CHANGE''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' POLAR ICE CAPS TROPICS DEAD ANIMALS OUR FATE IS IT TOO LATE?
HE IS PLAY BALL. HE WILL WIN THE OSCAR
DUDE SPITTING, BREATHING HEAVILY, AND GROANING LMAO
Okay Leo, we'll get you an Oscar buddy.

Honestly, Tom Hardy deserved an Oscar way more than Leo for this movie. I felt like any decent actor could have done Leo's job while Fitzgerald actually took acting chops.
Is anybody else kind of worried about what will happen to Leo if he doesn't win this time?
He seems to be getting incredibly desperate. I'm worried that another snub will break him.
>>64646629
Before The Revenant he didn't even act in a movie since Wolf of Wall Street. He will never make a movie again.
>>64646591
I came out thinking the same thing. Roomate kept arguing for DiCaprio though. But ultimately Tom Hardy is destined to get a fucking Best Actor, they should just give this one to Leo for all the effort.

>DUDE COOL BANE VOICE PLUS A SOUTHERN ACCENT LMAO
Hardy always sounds like Hardy, I genuinely believe him to be one of the most overrated actors of our time. He always does a strange, fake voice, which he then overlays an accent on top of. You can especially hear it in The Revenant, but watch any interview and you can see his natural voice is not the weird, deep one like in Mad Max.
It's so bizarre, he's trying so hard to sound like Tom Hardy. He's awful.

GIVE ME MY OSCAR
Leo will never win an Oscar. It's all part of his grand mythos constructed for him. By constantly dangling an oscar in front of him like on some kind of dog-following-sausage powered cart, he will outdo himself in every movie until he creates the perfect film, in which he will have to die for real.
They will posthumously award him an Oscar and lifetime acheivement award for all his success and money
When they scalped you, did you die?
For a while I was a big guy
and then it became extremely painful
for me
>>64646629
Well, if he don't get himself an Oscar, maybe they'll give 'em a fuckin' pelt instead.

This made me laugh, you're probably right.
He was visibly tearful when he lost it for Wolf of Wall Street, this time he is going to lose to Redmayne for his tranny film. Leo will have an internal breakdown, wiping him of his ego. From now on, Leo will seek out only the best written roles, because he is trying to feel what having a personality is like again. Leo's consciousness will become the character's, eventually leading him to the greatest portrayal of all time- he must actually become the character.
The Oscar Committee is plotting the death of Leo's ego. He will then legally change his name to Tabula Rasa- a blank slate upon which characters are written.
Thank you for your sacrifice Leo.

Anyone who takes the Oscars seriously is reddit tier... Guys like Weinstein have been rigging them for years by running expensive nomination campaigns so their shitty movies get "Oscar credibility"(which is a figment of imagination) and hopefully bump up their profits.

Thank you Leo
Honestly, the only movie that Leo might've deserved an Oscar for was the Departed, and even that one was a little over the top.
He honestly is not a subtle enough actor to earn the Oscar (even though there have been some embarrassing selections over the years).
If anything, the guy who played Fitzgerald deserves an Oscar because he was perfect in that role. Don't even know his name.
