Happy Birthday Hartnell edition!
What is the best Hartnell story, /who/?
What is the worst?
Missing serial thread >>64632589
So what was going on with /tv/? This thread 404'd when I made it but now it's here along with the other one that 404'd.
Listen up anon. This is very important.
My balls, they itch.
Best is probably the Daleks. Second best was the Aztec story
Worst was the Time Meddler or whatever it was called; the one with the rogue time lord trying to fry Harald Hardrada's fleet with a giant magnifying glass. I havent seen every Hartnell story though, so there may be worse ones
I threw in two "t"s because he puts some weird stress on the "let". am-you-LET, but that makes it sound loud. Basically the "e" is more of an "eh" and less of a schwa.
I assumed it was a Scottish/old-fashioned pronunciation but I can't find any evidence for it.
wait what's so bad about the time meddler?
galaxy 4 is probably the worst. literally gave steven barbara's lines unchanged.
Galaxy 4 mind. Fuck the Chumbleys.
I loved the Time Meddler. Seeing the First Doctor interacting with another Time Lord, someone that could potentially rival his intellect was very entertaining. Calling him out as a fake monk and then egging him on to tell him exactly what he was planning was very enjoyable. Really showed how witty the first Doctor could be, plus we see him as a complete badass like in pic related.
now that it is off-sesnon /who/ it is time for me to return
no anon you're opinon is wrong
the masacre is where its at
I love The Daleks' Masterplan and The Aztecs.
I agree that Galaxy 4 is the worst.
Great story, and often overlooked. Very good choice desu.
>What about best and worst One books?
I've only read two of them. The Empire of Glass was good but not great. Campaign was... Interesting. I'm not sure I liked it, but I don't regret reading it.
Are we doing audios as well? Because I loved the trilogy with Oliver Harper. My least favorite is probably The Beginning. It's not bad, but I was kinda expecting more from the first DW story ever.
