I got yer Moya right here famseph.
stil functioning after this!
Voyager was a beast
defias is biger with simiar agility but the delta flier would outmaneuver the falcon easy.
warp is literaly X times light speed.
sub light is every ship caped at the same speed.
>comon its han solo!
cmon its Kirk!
cmon its Picard!
cmon its Janeway!
Differenet Anon but:
1) He's right on account of Star Wars having ridicolous fucking "science" that claims a single turbolaser could wipe out manhatten effectively. Star Wars is basically Goku to Star Trek's Bruce Lee.
>Warp is literally x times light speed
Just no. Unless you didn't mean Warp 9 = Lightspeed times 9, no.
Estimated travel time of Voyager at the start of the series was 70 years going home, from 70 000 lightyears away. That would require Warp 1000 by your count, and that's not including the fact that if you reach Warp 10, you effectively become H2G2's Heart of Gold, and pass through every point in spacetime simultaneously. Warp is insanely fast, but it's not that simple.
But on topic though:
Best captain on best ship in best moment in pic related.
i cant even wrap my head around how stupid this is...but ok.
Picard / Janeway could have Q on board!
nah han would kick all their butts, he is a space cowboy and picard is a bald shakespearian faglord
kirk would get BTFO by solo easy and janeway would try diplomacy while han shot first
Ah all right with the warp then, but still my point stands. You can go right now to wookiepedia and check out specks of the Millenium Falcon. It could easily wipe out the western seaboard by itself, it's that well equipped, because they just pulled numbers out of their ass.
second best captain
almost, but thanks for shutting down the other dude.
how would he even shoot at her?
if they would meet in person, his guns would get beamed away...
Warp has never been quantified you stupid piece of shit
Best ship and captain is pic related
Star Wars has no fucking chance against Star Trek. Trek has far superior technology, fire power, and super science. I believe a single Borg Tactical Cube could solo star wars universe
> Star Wars in the Star Trek thread
Picard probably had the best ship out of the docks.
Janeway with her armored pimped out end game version of voyager had the best ship, even though it started out as a research ship.
My favourite is Captain Archers Enterprise though because of the dinky quaintness of it all. It feels like it's outclassed by pretty much everything else in the galaxy. Primo underdog story.
Also, to all of you star wars fans, come on. I like star wars but thats like a horse vs nuclear powerd submarine.
An A-wing took out a super star destroyer. The Death Star was taken out by an Xwing. One point they have made over and over in Star Wars is that size does not matter in the Star Wars universe.
Space battle is tough, but in a ground battle there's no way federation nancy boys could take on rebel troops. Superior tech means shit when you're fighting men that lived on Hoth for a couple years.
>Both TOS Enterprises
>Both TNG enterprises
TNG by far. It had an entire community on board, whereas ships like Voyager and the Defiant were very niche.
>Superior tech means shit when you're fighting men that lived on Hoth for a couple years.
Wrong, superior tech is the difference when you've fought a warrior race on Ajilon Prime and you're up against a foe that 'lived on Hoth for a couple years'.
> Star Wars babies concede superior tech to Star Trek
> b-but muh ground combat
Ground advantage only matters if you can land a ship on a planet in one piece. Star Wars has no chance.
In TFA Finn could see planets apparently the other side of the galaxy being blown up by the starkiller, does this mean the star wars galaxy is actually really really small and they do actually travel at lightspeed because the distances are so short?
The problem with the Star Wars vs Star Trek shit is that without proper guidelines for the fight, you just don't know, because both sides have some major advantages over the other, and both sides have some major weaknesses. Then it more or less comes down it being whoever decides the guidelines has already decided the fight.
Is it single ship vs single ship? Is it the Empire vs the Federation? Is it the entire Star Wars universe vs the entire Star Trek universe? Are in universe enemies allied for this fight? Does the force work outside of the Star Wars universe? Is Q, or any of the other godlike beings Kirk faced involved in the battle? Can Tribbles use the force? There are just too many unknowns.
I love both universes, and have always thought that this fight was stupid. Fun, but stupid.
This nigger gets it.
>Wesley could put together a planet cracker no problem
>A terrorist group getting its hands on a smart rocket that can take out a city was a big thing
>There aren't hundreds Ferengi of terrorist groups running around in the Star Trek universe, holding worlds hostage with easy to make planet cracker tech for 1 Billion Bars of Gold Pressed Latinum
It just doesn't add up.
I don't think that's a apt comparison. Th death star can destroy a planet, maybe. It can also be destroyed by a small shuttle with photon torpedos.
Q can destroy galaxies or whatever they want to do. Sheev and yoda are nothing compared to him.
Maybe Rey could because of JJ's plot armour.
